“Stop!” I screech. Now that I’m safe, I’m feeling brave.

“I’m pregnant! With Anton’s baby. Or maybe Isaiah’s. Although Elijah, Jer, or Zach could also be the father,” I announce as I push through the wall of muscle blocking me from Thad. “And I’m keeping the baby.” There’s silence, until the little old lady who’d been standing in the open doorway looks around, and then nods to me before slipping back into her shop.

“What?!” Thad roars, but it’s cut off by a hand being wrapped around his throat. To my surprise, Eli is the one who’s got Thad pinned to the wall.

“My family has more money than Tony Stark, and I guarantee you don’t want to piss my uncle off. He runs a little group of mobsters in NYC.” I stare at Eli because…while his family is well off…they definitely don’t have connections to the mob, and his parents are nowhere near Stark level…

“I still own your share of my father's company, or have you forgotten, cousin?” Anton growls. Now, this surprises me. I turn to look at my first protector, and the look in his eyes says he’s not lying one bit. “I’ll sell them to a competitor and blame you.” This has Thad’s face going white. “Grandma’s shares, plus yours, should have the company dismantled in little more than six months?” Anton’s grin is feral.

“Your father will kill you!” Thad hisses, and Anton chuckles.

“My father isn’t even half the man he thinks he is. You want the shares, they’re yours. In exchange, you never contact Sapphire again. If you do, I’ll bury you in my fucking yard.” Anton’s threat was not meant to be sexy…and yet…

I blame the hormones…

“I’ll sue you, your uncle, and your fucking company if you ever set foot on this side of the country again,” I snap.

“I’ll have the lawyer send you everything on Monday,” Anton says as he grabs my hand and pulls me after him.

“Now fuck off, before you end up like my sister's ex.” I look over my shoulder to see Zach hiss something I can't hear, but if Thad could turn any whiter, he’d be translucent. A light smack on my ass has me yelping as Anton gives me a very pointed look.

“I was going to tell you, but this kind of just derailed it,” I admit, and he nods.

“We’re heading to your house. They’ll follow. We have some things to discuss.” Anton lifts his brow, like he’s daring me to protest, but I just follow along beside him happily.

Thad will never be a problem again, I couldn’t be happier right now if I tried.

CHAPTERTHIRTY-SEVEN

A few hours later Anton has already arranged everything with his lawyer, and I’m curled up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa, and Dream is warming my feet on the couch.

No one will let me say anything until Isaiah and Jer have made me this huge ass meal. I’m watching them work in my small kitchen, bickering as brothers always do.

“So, can I talk now?” I ask, when we’re all sitting around my small living room and eating the deliciousness the guys cooked up.

“Us first,” Anton says, then nods to my food. “After you finish.”

It feels like they take their time eating slowly just to torture me.

“Okay, someone speak!” I demand when everyone is finished.

“We all want to be here for you. For the pregnancy and for the birth. The four of us have been like brothers most of our lives already, and Eli fits right in. If you want us, then we’ll be here,” Jer says. He’s sitting beside me on the couch, with the others sitting around the room in different spots.

“No DNA tests, unless you want that. But we don’t. We know this isn’t conventional, but none of us are willing to give you up unless you’re not…” Isaiah trails off, and I shake my head, sitting up.

“I love you. All of you. I can’t imagine my life without even one of you. I’d be devastated. If you mean it, if you’re all willing…” Tears fill my eyes as I look around the room. “Then yes, I want all of you!”

In a second, I’ve got a pile of men on top of me, hugging me.

“Back up, you’ll suffocate her!” Eli teases as he backs up. “This isn’t how I imagined my life, but I love you, and I’m not letting you slip away. If this is what you want, then I’m not going anywhere.”

“We can make you happy if you let us,” Zach says, and I bite my lip, leaning forward to grab his hand.

“You already do. I want to make you all as happy as you make me. If you’ll let me,” I say, but before Zach can even smile, Jer is hugging me.

“She’s ours!” he cheers, making me giggle. “She likes alien boys with body hair enough to keep them!” Jer’s words make the other men all stare in complete confusion. I laugh so hard, I start crying. Remembering that day, the moment I think I first fell for Jer, fills my chest with so much love, I think I’ll burst.

“Thank you for loving me,” I say when I finally stop gasping for air.
