“Fuck you,” she spits, blood hitting the floor. “You know, Ryker won’t let you kill me.” A smile spreads across her face, blood staining her teeth as I grin right back.

“Didn’t you hear… our agreement changed, and you’re ripe for the picking. That was before you fucked the club over too, so you’re done.”

“Bullshit. You’re just a whore like the rest of us, he—”

I punched her again, harder this time. She falls to the floor with a cry, mumbling curses under her breath, and I relish in the sound. “You’re just never going to learn, are you? I’m going to enjoy cutting that tongue from your mouth.” The idea shoots a tingle through my veins.

“You wouldn’t,” she whimpers, looking up at me through her hair falling over her face.

Challenge accepted. When I grip her throat, she yelps, trying to push away from me, but she doesn’t get anywhere. Yanking her toward me, I press my fingers deep into her flesh as I pry her lips open with my free hand.

“Sweet Cheeks, you saidno serious injuries.” Gray’s voice from behind me makes me pause, and I turn to find him standing there with Ryker, Emmett, and Axel. Each of them are bleary-eyed and confused as fuck, but the anger that vibrates from them is palpable.

“But listening to her whine is just awful. Really, I’m doing us a favor.” I smile from ear to ear, hoping they’ll see my way of thinking.

“You’re not supposed to look so delicious with a feral glint in your eyes, Reaper,” Axel grunts, and my heart skips a fucking beat in my chest.

“You’re one to talk,” I manage to rasp back, my pulse ringing in my ears, and he grins.

“How long?” Ryker asks, stepping closer to look at the deceiver in my grasp.

“Screw you,” Molly bites, and I’m almost pleased she’s taking the same tone with him as she was with me, but it also pisses me off that she thinks she can talk to my man like that. “I never would have helped him if you had just chosen me. But no, you choseherinstead.”

“Herhas a name, you stupid bitch,” I grunt, shoving her away from me as I stand tall.

Ryker moves to my side, standing in solidarity with me. Even though we’re not touching, I can feel his body heat at my side. “You werenevera consideration, Molly, no matter how fucking twisted your mind is. That’s what it all was, in your head.”

“Please,” she sobs, crawling toward him on her hands and knees. How the mighty has fallen.

“That’s it, Molly. Get on your knees and beg him for forgiveness,” I snap, crouching again to meet her eyes. “Beg him to forgive you for betraying the club, beg him to save your life. Go on, let me hear you.” I feel as deranged as I’m sure I sound, but I’ve hated this fucking whore since I got here, and now there’s an actual reason to fuck her up. It’s exciting!

She peers up at Ryker, hope filling her eyes like there’s a chance of him saving her. It’s irrelevant how much she has pissed me off or fucked over the club. There’s no coming back from that.

“Is it worth getting any information out of her?” Emmett asks, and I glance over my shoulder to see him. He scrubs a hand down his face, distracting me from the situation at hand.

“I mean, it would be more than fun to interrogate her.” I gleam, excitement bubbling inside of me. “But the reality is Kincaid was likely only using her as his eyes and ears. The fact that she knows anything is slim to none.”

“Do you know anything?” Ryker asks her. She wants to say yes so there’s a reason to keep her alive, but if she’s still breathing, she’s going to be in pain. It’s as simple as that.

“I-I… Ryker, p-please.”

She’s truly a fallen woman. Rising slowly to my feet, we all know what’s coming next, even Molly. That’s why she’s resorted to pleading once more.

“She doesn’t know shit. She didn’t even know Declan already worked for Kincaid, she thought he was doing it for her,” Gray states, recalling her conversation on the cell phone.

Her eyes widen, her bottom lip trembling as tears start to track down her face. “You’re right,” Ryker murmurs, taking a step back. “Do you want the honors, Rebel?”

“I can’t go down there,” I admit, pointing to the door leading to the cellar, and Ryker nods.

“I can clean up from wherever you need, Reaper. Just say the word.” I glance at Axel, his words settling over me like a warm blanket.

“How do you want to ride your way into Hell, Molly?” I offer a soft smile.

“I-I don’t,” she mumbles, responding to me for the first time without snark on her tongue. Wow, there really is a first time for everything.

“I remember Matt’s old lady at the Ice Reapers, Jeni, I think she was called. She told me about this time they attached a traitor to bikes with a rope, and all drove off in different directions, tearing that motherfucker limb from limb.” Molly whitens at my little story.

“I mean, I’ll clean it up, but it doesn’t get any messier than that, Scar,” Axel says with a teasing grin on his lips.
