"Is this what High Lords do during their spare time?" I asked. "Hunt for omegas and courts that may not exist?"

"Life would quickly get boring if we didn't have things like that to keep ourselves amused," he said with a sniff. "Then we might have nothing better to do but start wars. I don't believe anyone wants that."

"Hunting dreams and shadows seems like a better pastime," I agreed. "What do Tavian and Vayne think about that?"

"Vayne thinks it's a waste of time," Ryze admitted. "Tavian is up for anything adventurous. He’s still young enough not to be old and bitter."

I nodded. I noticed that about him.

I leaned in for a better look at the map. Along the sides were words written like a poem or song lyrics.

I read them out loud.

"In the Court of Dreams,Fae dance,

Hearts flutter in a wild prance.

The moonlight shines so bright,

Lighting steps that flow all night.

The air isalive with Fae song,

A place where dreams hold long.

The scent of honey and blooming flowers,

Mingle with the Fae's lost powers.

Their voices blend,sweet and true,

A melody that echoes through the hue.

They sing of love and endless wonder,

Hearts aglow, spirits thunder.

The Courtof Dreams is a place of wonder,

Where Fae reign with magic stronger.

Come dance beneath the moon,

Lose yourself to the compelling tune.

In the Court of Dreams, time stands still,

All around is magic and thrill.

Close your eyes and take a chance,

Join the Fae’s wildest dance.”

"It's an ancient Fae song,"Ryze said. "A song of scent and magic. I'll spare you my singing. Legend says it's a song from the Court of Dreams itself."

"Then it can't be underground," I said slowly. "Not if they're singing about moonlight."

He looked surprised, then down at the page, a frown on his brow.
