Her head went back, a loud moan came out of her mouth, and all the nerve endings in her body seemed to be electrified as she came a second time.
Theo grunted out a few times, then just collapsed on top of her.
“You’ve got a nice room,” she said after she caught her breath.
He snorted. “That’s what you’ve got to say after what we just did?”
“I didn’t want this to be awkward,” she said, giggling.
He laughed with her. “Yeah. Not awkward at all. I need a shower now.”
“Me too. Can I join you?”
“That was the plan,” he said, standing up and pulling her up with him.
She stopped him before he went to take a step and put her hand to his face, then reached up and gave him a light kiss. “Thank you for the best date of my life.”
“Thank you for letting me take you on the best date of your life.”
She had to be living in some fantasy world for sure.
Which was all the more reason she still had to keep this quiet, because she didn’t think anyone would believe her.

Sneaky And Sly
“Someone got lucky yesterday.”
Daisy turned to see Poppy looking at her early on Monday morning.
“What?” she asked.
“Come on now,” Poppy said, giggling. Poppy stopped and looked around. There was no one in yet. Just the two of them. Rose was only a month away from her delivery at this point and was coming in when she was up and moving. She’d been doing some work at home just so she could lie down or puke in the privacy of her own house. “I know when someone has had sex.”
“I didn’t know you had that superpower. It must be very distracting all day long when you see people. Can you tell how they did it too?”
Poppy laughed. “Noooooo. Let me put it this way. I know when someone has had sex and they hadn’t in a long time. You’re humming in here. That is why I came in. I heard the noise.”
Oh crap. She’d had no idea. “Maybe I’m just in a good mood?”
“Because you got laid last night,” Poppy said, twerking her hips a little.
Poppy was a riot and everyone knew how she was. But the last thing Daisy thought was she’d get caught when she’d been trying to keep this all a secret.
Heather had come home last night and she hadn’t expected that. She knew Luke was off, but she messed up the days that Luke had to go in and last night was his shift.
Daisy had barely come out of the shower when she heard someone in the apartment and then had to compose herself. She supposed it was a good thing that Heather stopped at the store first to get some things or she might have beaten Daisy home altogether.
Not that they kept each other on a leash, but she might not have been able to hide everything she wanted if she was caught unaware.
“Shhhh,” Daisy said. She figured there was no reason to hide this completely. Poppy would just hound her until she gave in anyway.
“Who is the lucky guy?” Poppy asked. “I didn’t even know you were seeing someone.”
She got up and shut the door. “No one knows.”
“Not even Heather?” Poppy asked, her jaw dropping.
