Tebos's laughter reverberates, mocking my defiance.

"We'll see, pretty one, we'll see." He runs the back of his hand over the tops of my breasts and tries to cup my bosom, but I shake him off. "So you like to play hard to get?"

"Impossible to get, more like," I say, glaring into his evil eyes.

More Zebos guards close in, intrigued by how I'm still fighting my way. I don't care, though. I know this risk was worth it. Even if I fail, even if they punish me, I won't surrender, for it's better to take a risk and fail, than to live a life devoid of hope and freedom.

As Tebos's grip returns to my arm, I hold my head high, meeting his gaze without flinching.

"You may have power now," I say, sneering at him. "But remember this moment. Remember that there are those among us who refuse to bend to your cruelty."

He chuckles darkly, tightening his hold as he lifts me to my feet.

"We'll see, little rebel. In the meantime, you've earned yourself a special treat. I think it's time I introduce you to the monsters. They've been hungry, and I'm sure they'll enjoy a taste of fresh meat."

Dread washes over me as the weight of his words sinks in.

The monsters.

Rumor has it that they were freakishly created in a drastic accident when male humans were abducted from Earth and clashed with a mix of lethal animals.

A shiver runs down my spine at the thought of facing those terrifying creatures. But I refuse to let fear consume me. I take a deep breath, steadying myself.

As Tebos leads me away from the prison cell corridor, I steal a glance at the lake surrounding Castle Zebos. Its dark waters ripple with an eerie stillness, a deceptive calmness that hides the dangers lurking beneath. I remember the tales of the deadly sea creatures that inhabit its depths, waiting to claim any unfortunate soul who dares to venture too close. It's a reminder that escaping from this desolate planet will be a challenge.

Tebos leads me along a tunnel, and my mind drifts back to Earth, the home I was forcibly torn away from. I think of its vibrant cities, its bustling streets filled with life and freedom. Memories of blue skies, lush green fields, and the warm embrace of loved ones flood my thoughts. I long for the touch of a gentle breeze on my skin, for the simple pleasures of everyday life that I took for granted.

But here I am, trapped within these cold stone walls, surrounded by despair and cruelty. Yet, a spark of determination glimmers within me. I refuse to accept this fate as my final chapter. A fire burns within my soul, a burning desire to reclaim my freedom.

As Tebos leads me toward the monsters, their growls and snarls echoing in the distance, I steel myself for what lies ahead. I may be a prisoner, but I am not defeated. I am a survivor, and I will face the monsters head-on. It is in the face of our darkest fears that our true strength is revealed.

With every step, I silently vow I will not become another victim of this cruel world. I will find a way to escape the clutches of the mighty Fej (if he does exist) and his dreadful prison.

Then I will chart a course to Planet Sefl, a planet created by those who have escaped the clutches of the Zebos. The journey will be treacherous, filled with hardships and sacrifices, but I am ready to face it all.

I am Stella, a defiant spirit yearning for freedom, and nothing will extinguish the flame burning within me.

Chapter 2

__________

Champ

The cage feels like a prison within a prison, confining me to this wretched existence. Hunger claws at my insides, fueling a relentless thirst for freedom.

I don't know how long I've been locked away in this forsaken place, biding my time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to break free from the clutches of Fej and his monstrous domain, but soon I will break free.

Thoughts of my home, business, and Earth flood my mind. I yearn for the life I left behind - the money, the power, the freedom, and my father's influence.

I was a good man. I helped people and tried to inspire them with my work and writing. I built courses to improve writers' talents and worth, showed them how to write better, and how to publish and market their books on social media.

Okay, maybe I could have been kinder by donating more to charities like my father did, but I was about to. I know I wasn't perfect, but who is?

At least I was trying to do good. I had a plan to start giving money to various charities, and that plan was ripped from me.

Now I've been turned into a beast, forced to fight against other monsters to survive, made to kill with my bare paws to entertain these foolish Zebos and their despicable leader, Fej.

What sort of name is Fej anyway? He sounds as evil as a clump of rotten vegetables trying to grow from a volcanic ground.
