A mantra.

Her mantra.

The way she comes undone only makes my release even more intense. I’m almost dizzy with it as stars dance behind my eyelids. By the time I collapse on top of her, we’re both breathing hard. Her arms entwine around my neck to hold me close.

There’s no other place I’d rather be.

“You know,” I say, when I’m finally able to catch my breath. “We should probably buy Juliette a better pair of noise cancelling headphones. Apparently, hers aren’t cutting it. And let me tell you what, pretty girl,” I say with a wide smile. “She’s going to need them.”

Carina groans before burying her face in her hands.

Yeah…it’s a little too late for that.

Chapter Thirty-One

Carina

I slide into a parking spot at Taco Loco and cut the engine before checking my makeup in the visor mirror. My face is glowing and there’s a sparkle in my eyes.

One that says I’ve been freshly fucked.

And the look isn’t wrong.

After class this morning, Ford and I headed back to the apartment. I had a hard time keeping my hands off him. We had to stop ourselves from tearing off each other’s clothes and doing it in the elevator.

It was tempting.

Oh, so tempting.

I don’t know what it is about the man but whenever we’re around each other, I find myself flat on my back. Or on all fours with my ass in the air.

Who would have suspected that Ford would turn out to be such a freak in the sheets?

And who would have guessed it’d turn me on so damn much?

The worst is when we’re in class and he’ll lean over and whisper all the dirty things he has in store for me. My panties will flood with heat and it’s the only thing I can focus on for the rest of the hour.

And the big jerk knows it.

Does it on purpose.

Somehow, he’s managed to find all my buttons and now that he has, he presses them every chance he gets. No one has ever figured me out so quickly and pieced it all together.

If he were so inclined, he could write a user manual for my body.

The man has uncovered things I had no idea existed.

It’s official. I’m addicted.

When I squirm on the seat, already heating up, I shove those thoughts from my brain.

Know what will shut them down faster than anything?

Thinking about Pamela.

And our lunch date.

I need to do a little recon and figure out what her plans for the future are.
