And it goes straight to my dick.

Even though she remains in place, her eyes track every movement as I close the space between us. When I’m about three feet away, she straightens to her full height. Her posture is no longer casual. It’s as if she suddenly realizes there’s nowhere for her to go.

Nowhere to run.

She’s trapped and at my mercy.

Exactly where I want her.

When I move forward, invading her personal space, she tips her chin upward to hold my gaze as her palms settle on my bare chest as if to hold me at bay.

Doesn’t she realize that nothing and no one can keep me away from her?

Her voice dips. “If we’re really going to do this—”

“Oh, it’s happening.”

There’s not a fucking doubt in my mind.

She swallows, the delicate column of her throat working with the movement. “Then we need to have some rules in place.”

“Rules?” The word comes out sounding foreign. I jerk a brow. “What kind of rules?”

When her tongue darts out to moisten her lips, my gaze drops to the movement. Unable to help myself, I nip at the plump flesh.

“This isn’t a relationship. It’s strictly dickly.”

Even though I thought the same damn thing myself and presented it that way, I don’t like hearing it from her.

“Fine,” I reluctantly bite out. It’s so damn tempting to argue. “Next rule.”

“No having sex with other people while we’re together.”

I haven’t slept with anyone in months. There hasn’t been an urge. Well, there has but only for one specific girl. If I couldn’t have her, there wasn’t any point in fucking other people. I’ve spent most of college doing exactly that. It’s only now that I realize it didn’t work. Carina is like an infection running rampant through my bloodstream. I’m hoping a taste of her sweetness will be the antidote I need.

“Not even flirting,” she tacks on, eyes searching mine.

Little does she know that I would have secured the same agreement from her. Otherwise, there’d be a lot of beatdowns going on.

Cameron Lee would have been the first on the list. The dickhead is still trying to get with her every class period.

“Yeah, fine.”

“And we keep this on the downlow. No one else needs to know what’s going on.”

I flex my shoulders in an attempt to shake off the growing tension. “Why?”

“Because it’s weird.” She rolls her eyes as if I’m too dense for words. “Everyone thinks we’re actually related.”

“Who the fuck cares what everyone else thinks?”

Her expression flattens as she mutters, “We both know your father wouldn’t like it. The less people who know, the better.”

True enough. I suspect it’s the reason why he’s decided to push Jaclyn my way.

“Fine. So basically, I’ll be your dirty little secret. Is that what you’re telling me?”

Guilt stains her cheeks as she glances away. “It’s not like that.”
