LENNOX
My sisterand I graduate highschool in a few short weeks and while we are by the pool, we are deciding how we want to celebrate. We can stay home and get piss drunk, high, and watch movies. That sounds more like my speed, because going out is just not on my list. But I know my friends probably will not go for that. Juniper won’t let me stay in either, because she is all about seizing the moment and shit.
I could get Lauren on my side. I can almost guarantee she doesn’t want to go out at all. She’ll prefer to read and if we go to the club, I’ll bet my left tit she brings her Kindle and I’ll find her hiding in the corner.
“Stop looking like you’re actually trying to figure out what we’re doing. We. Are. Going. To. The. Club,” Juniper says as she joins me under the cabana that overlooks our in-ground pool.
She’s wearing a black one-piece swimsuit that sits high on her hips but is otherwise very modest. My sister has thegoodbody and shapely, long legs. I blame it on her mother because she’s the spitting image of her, and I’m the spitting image of my mother. Shorter, stouter, less runway and more plus size model. I’m not overweight due to my athletic career, but I’ve got some junk in my trunk, more of the girl next door type.
Juniper has those things as well—tits and ass—but she’s so tall, you barely notice. The first thing you look at when you see her is her long legs. Guys drool over both of us, just for different reasons. That’s what happens when your dad has children with two different women at the same time and both women have stronger genes than him. My dad got the best of both worlds when he chose his life partners.
We share our dad’s navy blue eyes and near black hair, though, so it is possible for him to claim us.
The back gate opens and my heart hitches a ride on the crazy amount of love I have for the man that walks through. I wasn’t expecting to see him today. He told me he had too much schoolwork to do.
My gray-eyed, bronze-haired, tattooed boyfriend, Benny, marches across the backyard, straight to me, with a white lotus flower in his hands, his intense eyes never straying from my position. The grin that splits my face is unstoppable. He doesn’t mind as he returns a sexy smirk. His light blue polo hugs his biceps and those awful khaki slacks he wears for work leave much to be desired. Doesn’t matter because those tattoos on display are enough to make up for it.
“What are you doing here?” I ask when he reaches my side and bends to give me a kiss. I don’t ask if the flower is for me and instead I go to snatch it, but he pulls it back. We go back and forth in a little game of keep away before he finally lets me have it, along with another kiss. “I thought you had too much schoolwork?”
I give the lotus a sniff, then settle it on the table between my sister and me that holds our drinks.
“I do, and it isn’t going to do itself, but no way in hell was I gonna miss my girl in a bikini by the pool. I’m glad I stopped by because, holy fuck, baby. You look stunning.” It’s just the sun, or at least that’s what I’m blaming it on, but my body heats and my neck tingles as a blush works its way up to my cheeks. With that, I don’t let him get far before I pull him back to me and kiss the life right out of him. He groans into the kiss and one hand disappears to adjust himself in his slacks. “Your parents home?”
“Yeah.”
“Damn,” he mutters in between kisses.
“Oh, don’t mind me!” Junie singsongs beside us, amusement lively in her tone. Benny pulls back, chuckling and shaking his head.
“Excuse me, Juniper, I didn’t see you there.”
Her eyes roll back so far in her head I worry they’re going to stick there. “We know you only have eyes for one girl and for that I’m grateful, but fuck you. There is no way in hell you didn’t see me! I mean, do you see this suit? It’s perfection.” She gestures to her body, her head rolling with the movement.
Benny holds up a finger and pops his lips. “No comment on that one.”
“Smart man.” She grins and winks at him.
“Anyway, you both look great. I have to get going, but I just wanted to see you before the hell that is my afternoon. You make everything tolerable, and I won’t forget you in this bikini for a long ass time.”
“Spank bank material, am I right?” Junie comments and a laugh bursts from Benny’s nose.
“Totally,” Benny responds.
“You guys…” I chide.
“She started it.” Benny raises his shoulders in defense when I swat at him.
“But thank you, babe. You know I could always use the compliments.”
Bending for another quick kiss and pressing my hand to his erection, he says, “I love you and I miss you.”
“I love you, too. Have you decided if you’re coming to my race next weekend?” I give him a squeeze, causing him to moan against my lips.
“Can’t come fast enough.”
“Get out of here and get your work done. I’ll see you soon.” My heart drops when he backs away, knowing it will be a while before we get any real time together. But it also skips a beat as I watch him walk backward toward the fence. He’s so damn hot it’s ridiculous. Before he backs out of the gate, he blows me a kiss. I send it back as the gate closes.
