“Gage,” I hissed, my heart pounding. “What is it with you always trying to manhandle me?”
He chuckled, catching my arm when I attempted to push him off. “You gonna pretend you don’t like it? And I’m clearly not just trying when I already have you pinned.”
My annoyance spiked, my struggles increasing as he kept my wrist captured and his hand in my hair. “What are you playing at?”
“I want to know the truth,” he murmured. “Did you fuck them to fuck them over? Or because you wanted to?”
“A little of both.”
My honest answer had him going still. He studied my face, as if attempting to see if I was bluffing. For once, it was the truth. I’d used sex to slip away. But…I’d wanted it too. Because it was Jace and Kian. As much as I wanted to hate them, I couldn’t. Not fully, anyway.
“They’re going to ruin you if you let them in,” he warned, his jaw clenched. “But fuck. I’m no better for you. The problem is, I’m a selfish prick who’s done fighting it. I fucking want you. Ellie might kill me when she finds out, but I really don’t care right now.”
“Then fucking take me,” I whispered, heat building in my stomach.
That was all he needed. Letting go of my wrist, he hauled me off the counter, keeping his hand in my hair. His lips crashed into mine, his kiss possessive and rough as he took control.
“They won’t choose you,” he mumbled, keeping his lips on mine. “Their families will always come first.”
I bristled. “I know—”
“But I will. I’ll choose you, Rynn.” He gripped the hem of my shirt, tugging it off me. “And now I’m going to fuck you until my name is theonlyfucking one you remember.”

I tossedher shirt onto the counter, and she reached behind her, unclipping her bra while smashing her lips back to mine. Wrapping my arms around her, I gripped her ass and lifted her up, walking forward until I could set her on the counter. Her tongue tangled with mine, and I ran my hands up her ribs, letting my fingertips graze her soft skin.
Until she suddenly jerked away, her eyes darting to the side. “The door isn’t locked.”
I breathed out a laugh. “Good.”
I slipped my fingers into the waistband of her pajama shorts and quickly tugged them down, making her lean back and rest her palms on the counter behind her. The shorts fell to the floor, and then she crossed her legs to keep me from taking off her black panties.
“Rynn,” I growled. “I’ve been waiting to do this since I laid eyes on you. Do not tease me right now.”
“Go lock the door.”
“No.”
Her eyes narrowed. “Why?”
“There are only two people who would be stupid enough to come in without knocking.” I gripped her thighs and spread them back apart. “And I hope they do. Because I want them to witness me ruining every other fucking guy for you.”
“Gage—”
“I’m going to fuck you all over this dorm.” I pressed myself against the counter between her thighs. “Where do you want to have your first orgasm, Rynn? You get first choice because I plan on putting you exactly where I want you after that.”
It wasn’t often I made her speechless, so her wide eyes and the slight flush on her cheeks made me grin. I arched my pierced eyebrow as I gripped her hips and pulled her to the edge of the counter. Her legs wrapped around my waist, and I dipped my head, running my tongue up the side of her throat, feeling my piercing graze against her skin.
“Mm,” I hummed out. “You’re out of time to choose. I want to taste you.”
She let out a cry of surprise when I untangled her legs from my body and stepped back, twisting her body to the side until she was facing the barstool.
“Lay down,” I told her gruffly as I hooked my fingers around her panties and tugged them down her legs.
She stayed sitting, the slight frown on her face making me go still. I straightened up, resting my hands on her thighs.
“I want you, Gage,” she said slowly, her eyes meeting mine. “But this doesn’t mean I’m yours. It’s just sex.”
