“You know how this works, say it.”

I bring my chin down to rest on his knuckle and bite my lower lip.“I understand, Sir.”

“Jesus,” he grits out, thrusting harder into me.

His hand tightens, and I suck in a breath and close my eyes. Letting the splashing of the water take over as he fucks me.

He’s all I can feel. Taking over every single one of my senses. My brain completely focuses on him and the pleasure he brings me. Taking my nipple in his mouth, he sucks, his fingers now wrapped so tightly around my throat I can’t breathe. It’s euphoric–the sensation that normally causes me panic has the complete opposite effect.

My legs tremble around him, and I arch my back, needing more pressure, making his dick hit that spot that sends me barrelling over the edge.

“Baby, come for me,”he growls into my ear.

Stars fill my vision as I explode around him.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he curses in my ear, spilling himself into me.

He unlaces his fingers and starts to pepper kisses on my neck. His cock is still twitching inside of me.

“You are so perfect, tesoro,” he whispers.

And I smile, looking down as he continues his assault of delicate kisses that tingle my sensitive skin.

This is where I want to be, every day.

When I’m with him, nothing else matters. Not even the demons in my head.

With him I am free.“I love you, Luca.”

He cups my jaw. “I love you, Rosa. I didn’t believe it was possible to find a love like this. Unconditional, passionate, all-consuming. I can’t live my life without you by my side. Soon, we won't have to sneak around. I want you to wear my ring and be proud of me.”

“Hey–I am proud of you.” I cut him off and stroke his smooth chest.

“Rosa, I can’t find any way out of this that doesn’t start a war. I can’t put my whole family in danger.”

I sigh, resting my head against his sticky chest.

“But you are now my family, too. Once I end the Capris, we leave this life and start a new one.”

If he can pull this off, I can wait. I will do what it takes. Once they are out of the picture, I can tell him the truth, and he will finally end Dante. My nightmare will be over.

There is hope.

CHAPTERFIFTY-NINE

Acalm and collected Romano sits opposite me. With Frankie to my right, he pours us all a brandy. I pull my phone out and set it on the table, waiting for Keller’s message. He left a couple of hours ago for the shipment.

My leg bobs up and down. I hate being stuck so far away just waiting on a call.

“Nice courtyard,” I say, looking over at the sea view.

“You seem distracted.” His voice is low as he lights up a cigar.

“Just overseeing your shipment. Hard to do in a different time zone, with little warning,” I reply.

Frankie clears his throat next to me.
