Luca clings onto my hand, leading me into his mom’s home. The coffee mug she always drank from in the center of the table, the kitchen is filled with a whole florist’s worth of vibrant flowers.

Grayson carefully places the sleeping baby in his arms. Luca’s face softens as he looks at the sleeping infant.

“I’m counting on it. We can practice on our travels,” I whisper back and watch as his eyes light up.
“So, where is your first stop?” Maddie asks as Grayson pulls her onto his lap.
“Greece. Luca’s bought a villa in Crete we’re using as our base in Europe. From there, we can just do weekend trips wherever we want.”
“We have a list,” Luca announces. If my face wasn’t red before, it is now.
