Stacy gasped. She couldn’t imagine someone taking a bullet for her and then having to live with the thought that they weren’t alive because of her. And then to be told not to fuck up the life they were leading was something she couldn’t imagine.

“I’ve gone back to the Navy doctor who is working with me on my PTSD. I’m seeing him twice a week and he thinks he can help me. My mother believes that love can cure me as well,” he said.

She was glad he was getting better. She hoped for his sake that the nightmares, the episodes, and everything ended and he had a peaceful life. But that wasn’t what sent her running and he knew it.

“It’s not the PTSD,” she said. “We can deal with that. But I want a family. Those few days with you guys, I was falling in love with you and my heart can’t just let you fuck me and not fall for you. And I need someone who is going to eventually want to marry me and have a family. It’s been my dream since I was a little girl and I’m not giving it up. If you can’t do that, then we’re just wasting our time.”

Tears welled in her eyes and she couldn’t stop them from flowing down her cheeks. If they had come here to convince her to give up her dream, then they would only hurt her further. And she didn’t need that right now.

Luis came over to her chair, pulled her up, sat, and then pulled her onto his lap. All the feelings rushed through her and she so wanted to lean into him, but she couldn’t.

“Before I went into the Navy, I wanted children. Getting a vasectomy was so that no one would witness how I act when I have an episode. But the doctor seems to think he can cure me,” he said.

For a moment, she felt hope. But then she couldn’t take a chance. “But what if he can’t. What if you still have episodes, then what? I’m not willing to give up my dream of a family. A large family with lots of little ones.”

Why couldn’t he understand that?

“Stacy, I love you. This past week has been miserable without you. I’ll do whatever you want to make you happy. Trevor and I want to make a life with you. We want to see a baby in your belly. We want the sound of children running through the house.”

She watched in stunned disbelief as Trevor suddenly dropped to one knee. “Stacy, we haven’t known each other long, but we’ve lived a lifetime already. We’re certain that you’re the one for us. In a week, we fell in love with you. With your spunk, your determination, and your willingness to fight for what you want. We want you to marry us, have babies with us, and create the family you so desperately want. Please say you’ll be our wife and marry us as soon as possible.”

Trevor opened a ring box that held a stunning emerald-cut diamond surrounded by lots of little stones.

Unable to stop herself, she started crying, her chest aching and filling with the love she had for these men. Could this be true? Was it really happening for her?

“Yes, please, I want to marry both of you and have the family I have always dreamed of. I love you both so much and I’ve been miserable here without you.”

Luis grabbed her cheeks and pulled her lips to his and kissed her deeply. “Thank God. I love you so much, Stacy, and this week has been terrible with you gone.”

Trevor grabbed her hands and pulled her to her feet. He kissed her deeply, his mouth moving over hers like he was desperate to hang on to her.

“You’re ours. You were made for us and we want you to return with us to Texas. We’ll get married as soon as possible.”

Laughing, she took each man’s hand. “I never dreamed that taking a chance with you guys would be the best possible thing that ever happened to me. Luis, I have one condition. You must continue to see the doctor.”

Trevor laughed. “I won the bet. I told him you were going to insist that he continue.”

“I just want you to be healed and happy and to be the best possible man and father to our children.”

Standing, he pulled her to him. “And I want that as well. Where in the hell is the bedroom in this place? I can’t wait another minute to get inside you.”

A giggle escaped her and she grabbed both of their hands and led them to her tiny bedroom with a queen mattress. Nothing like the super king-size bed they had, but it would do for tonight.

Stacy’s heart overflowed with love for these two cowboys she’d found. “You two are the loves of my life. I can’t wait any longer for the both of you to claim me.”

They both pulled back and smiled.

Quickly she removed her pajamas.

“When we move you to Texas, I think you can donate your pajamas to Goodwill.”

A smile filled her face and love overflowed from her heart. “I won’t need pajamas as a married woman?”

“Not our wife,” Trevor said as he removed his clothes.

She lay back on the bed and Trevor came to her side while Luis crawled between her legs.

“Are you certain you’re ready? I found the last butt plug beside your note,” he said.
