“Right,” I say with hearts in my eyes. They just pop out like balloons. It’s impossible for anyone not to notice. “This is Tomas. The sexy neighbor man who took me on a date last night. Now let me introduce you to my co-workers and friends.”

“This is Reed and Carter. They’re boyfriends and current exclusive camboys.”

“I run the business side of the website now…mostly. Unless Reed feels like recording,” Carter says and Reed blushes.

“And this little grump is Jasper and his boyfriend, Bennet. They’re also exclusive camboy boyfriends…”

Bennet holds out his beefy hand and gives a friendly Midwestern smile. It’s one that charms the pants off his fans and the reason he’s been so successful. Not to mention that the chemistry Jasper and him have is off the charts.

“Nice to meet you,” Tomas says, shaking each of their hands before putting those fingers right back where they belong—on me.

“So, you’re not a camboy?” Jasper asks when it quiets down. His dark brown eyebrow is arched up and he looks a little suspicious. Always so untrusting. I don’t know how Bennet even puts up with him sometimes.

Tomas shakes his head. “No. I’m a mechanic. Have my own shop in town, actually.”

“It’s all very sexy,” I tell them and Bennet bobs his head. I will Jasper to calm the fuck down with my eyes. I know he’s protective and the man is for sure a cynic, but he’s all coupled up now and happy as hell with Bennet. I thought maybe he would take it down just a smidge.

Apparently not.

Thankfully, Bennet pipes up, excitement lacing his voice because he is the sunshine to the cloud that is Jasper. “That is so cool, man. I grew up working on tractors. Want to show me what you’ve got out in the garage? I bet you have some cool shit….”

Tomas eyes me and I nod, realizing that our sexy time is going to have to wait. Sorry, table. Sorry, hole. Although, you probably should give it a rest, you slut.

Bennet and Tomas disappear into the garage a minute later and Jasper faces me fully, his hands on his hips, his lips pursed.

“A commoner, Damon, honestly?” he asks, and I roll my eyes.

“Who says that? You sound like a Victorian snob. Does Bennet know what a boob you are?”

The man looks proud of himself now. “He does and he loves me anyways.”

Jasper stares at me intensely, challenging me to argue with that, but there’s no arguing that fact. Bennet loves Jasper with everything he has. The poor bastard.

“Fine, yes he’s a commoner and he’s straight. Well, not so much after last night. No, after last night he’s definitely not straight.”

“Oh my god. He’s questioning?” Jasper hisses and then flicks my arm. “You know better than that.”

“Hey,” Carter says and then cocks his head. “You know how Reed and I started. Don’t be like that. Sometimes people change, or come to realizations—”

Jasper waves his hand. “Yes, yes, I know, I just don’t want my friend getting hurt.”

“Aw. That’s so cute, Jasper.” I tease, but really, I know the hostility does come from a place of worry. We’re a family. No matter how untraditional we may be. We’ve created a village and we protect each other. “But I won’t get hurt.” It’s a lie, I don’t really know what will happen between us, but that’s my problem. Not his.

“Yes, but what about when you go back to camming? What then?”

I stare at my friend and then sigh.

“He’s just living in the moment, Jasper. Let him live his life,” Carter replies and Jasper narrows his eyes at me and then at Carter. “Besides, I’m assuming he’s the hottie that showed up on camera with you.” Carter waggles his eyebrows suggestively at me. “Maybe we can talk him into joining the company.”

My heart pangs at that idea. I’m not sure how much of Tomas I want to share with the world. Is that even fair when the world has seen every single bit of me? Probably not. But it is what it is.

Before I can even say a word, Jasper is on it. “Don’t be ridiculous. That guy isn’t going to be filming again. This is Damon’s job, Carter. Tomas doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who will let you just go off and fuck people on camera…especially if you’re together. Are you together?”

A wave of nerves floods through me at that. This is all too damn much right now. I went from a fun few hours of getting fucked every which way to now being grilled hard by people I care about. But I don’t want to discuss this with them at all. “I mean, we went on a date?” My voice comes out weak and unsure, and I sigh, running a hand down my face. I suddenly feel weary. Jasper is right, I need to discuss this with Tomas. Like adults. And I need to do it very soon.

“Yes, well, it’s something you need to talk about. Maybe not now, but soon. Very soon, especially if you’re serious about each other.”

I don’t know what I am to Tomas, but I know what my heart is telling me. I want him, more of him, but I have an unconventional job. One that I probably couldn’t keep if we stayed together. I can’t see him telling me what to do. He seems to really embrace my uniqueness, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be okay with my career forever.
