"Thanks for organizingall of this," Zoey said.
"Anything to make you happy." I meant it more than she knew. I was serious about buying this place. I didn't care what I had to do to make her happy. Nothing was too much or too difficult. Seeing her excitement in the balloon had been an amazing experience.
I brought my mouth to her cheek, then trailed my lips up her ear, nibbling her earlobe before tracing a line of kisses down her jaw and up her other cheek.
"I love you," I said. "Being here with you is all I want. It's all I need. Forever. You gave my life meaning in a way that nothing ever did. Certainly not work.”
A light shudder coursed through her body. She was already on edge and sensitive. I moved my hands down her arms, but I didn't want to touch her over the fabric. I wanted her bare skin. But not yet. I had to pace myself. I wanted her desperately, but I didn't want to be too domineering.
I turned her around, kissing the back of her neck and making her shudder even more.
"Do you have goose bumps?" I asked.
"Yes," she whispered.
I pushed up her sleeves, bunching them at the elbow. Fucking hell. She really had goose bumps all over her arms.
I couldn't wait to get her naked. I’d wanted to sink inside her since this morning, and I could barely hold back any longer. I placed hot and wet kisses on the back of her neck, then on its side. I couldn’t get enough of this woman.
