“She’s finally seeing someone,” I told him, my smile threatening to split my face in two. “He seems like a decent guy.”
Lars’ smile mirrored mine. “It’s about goddamn time.”
“I thought I was happy when she finally quit her second job, but this…” I let out a shaky breath. “I’m really happy for her, Lars.”
Lars stepped forward, then wrapped me back up in his arms. “Looks like everyone might be finally getting their happily ever afters.”
My arms reached up to wrap around his neck. “I think you might be right.”
