Tania walked out of the en suite wearing a small bikini showing her numerous tattoos and a navel piercing. She had a towel slung over her shoulder and told Allee that she would wait while she got changed. Allee slipped into the bathroom, quickly undressing and folding her clothes into a neat bundle before pulling on the bathing suit. It sat well, and she was surprised at how flattering it looked on her. It had built-in support for her breasts, and the bottoms had a firm panel at the front, which helped flatten her belly. Allee still felt exposed and that her body was too fat to be in a swimsuit such as this, but there was nothing she could do about it. She would just have to hold her head high and ignore the laughter and snide remarks which were sure to follow her appearance at the poolside.

Holding her bundle of clothes and jewellery, she walked out of the bathroom to see Tania's gaze widen at her appearance.

“Allee, you look fabulous in that! I've never worn it, to be honest, it's too modest for my taste, but it looks like it was meant for you! Keep it! And honey, if you don't have a boyfriend yet, all you'll need to do is wear that to a beach or pool, and you'll have them tripping over themselves to get your number!”

Allee blushed, suddenly uncertain as to whether she should leave the room dressed as she was. Tania took her clothes from her unresisting hands, placed them on the end of the bed, and then grabbed Allee, pulling her from the bedroom.

“Wait 'til the guys get a look at you! I think their tongues will hang out of their heads!” Allee feebly tried to resist but was pulled along by Tania's insistence.

As they neared the back door, they could hear shrieks of laughter and a lot of splashing. Tania slowed down, shielding Allee from view as they walked onto the patio, and as she neared the gate, she called out to the rest of the group.

“Okay, you lot, no splashing for the moment, you need to see this!” she announced, opening the gate and pulling Allee through, although still managing to keep her shielded from the groups' gaze.

“What, your tatts? We've seen them all before!” Andre called back to the accompanying laughter of the others.

Tania just grinned and stepped aside. Allee felt as though she was naked, the stares stripping her bare. She looked at each of them, searching for derision or contempt, but only saw admiration.

“Allee, you're lucky that Tania makes me so happy. Otherwise, I think I'd have to ask you out on a date!” Darryl called, his smile softening the joke. Mark laughingly agreed, with Beth playfully splashing him in retaliation. Sammy and Andre were smiling and shaking their heads, but Noah kept staring, looking as though he'd been slapped. He suddenly blinked and turned away, as though he'd just realised how rude his behaviour must have appeared. Tania had keenly observed that interaction and leaned in towards Allee.

“I think you have a fan in Noah,” she whispered into Allee's ear. “You know, he's a sweet guy, and he's single, which is a bonus. With a wink, Tania threw her towel over the fence and dove into the water, surfacing beside Darryl.

Allee slowly walked over to the chair next to Noah's, laying her towel down and then sitting on top of it. Noah looked up and smiled at her before turning away to take off his shirt. It was Allee's turn to be surprised. Usually, Noah wore jeans and t-shirts, and she knew from those that he wasn't fat and had broad shoulders. However, Allee had not known just how toned Noah was. His chest was muscular and lightly covered with a smattering of dark hair, which arrowed down in a thin line over his belly, and then kept going down under his waistband. His shoulders were broad, and his arms and biceps were well-defined. His stomach was flat, and although Noah didn't have a chiselled six-pack, Allee could see that he did have some decent muscle definition. Noah's legs were hairy and quite muscled, and from what she could see of his rear, it was firm and nicely rounded. Allee looked away, not wanting to be caught staring, but was quite impressed nonetheless.

“How are you finding Brissie? Have you settled in somewhere yet?” Noah said.

Allee smiled at Noah's attempt at breaking the ice, glad that he had not noticed her staring.

“Actually, I've found a place. I'll move in next weekend.”

“Where is it?”

“Funnily enough, just down the road from the office. It's opposite the Glen Tavern.”

“That is close! So, do you have a lot of stuff in storage to move, or have you got removals to do it all?”

“Um, to be honest, I don't have any furniture, just a bunch of boxes to move. I'll need to go shopping next weekend for furniture.”

“What? No furniture?”

“No, just IKEA vouchers,” Allee said, “it’s on my to-do list!”

“Hang on a second. Hey, Darryl, you doing anything next weekend?”

Darryl swam over to the edge of the pool closest to where Allee and Noah were sitting, Tania following behind.

“Not a thing as far as I know. Why do you ask?”

“Allee is moving into her new place next weekend and is going to buy all her furniture from IKEA. Think we could help out?”

As Noah had been speaking, the others had all swum over to join the conversation.

Beth looked at Allee curiously, asking, “You don't have furniture? None at all?”

“No, I don't,” Alee replied, squirming under the inquiring gaze. “I left it all down in Melbourne, and it was sold. I felt it would be easier to do a speedy move if I didn't have any furniture.”

“Well, you don't have to worry about the cost of delivery or assembly. I've got a Triton, so I'll meet you there next weekend, and we can load it up.” Andre interjected, the tone of his voice indicating that he would not tolerate any arguments.

“What about appliances? Do you have any of those?” asked Beth.
