"I'm waiting."

He bit his lip. "I was just wondering if you'd want to come to LA this weekend and meet my parents."

I took a deep breath. "I think that's a good idea. We don't have anything else going on, and I'm far enough along now that it's safe to tell everyone. I'm just scared they'll hate me or think I'm trying to trap you or something."

He stopped what he was doing and turned to look down into my eyes, running his hands up and down my arms. "Honey, my parents aren't like yours. They'll love you, and my mom is going to freak over being a grandma. Expect lots of high-pitched squealing and hugs."

She sighed and melted into me. "That sounds amazing. I've never really had a warm motherly figure."

"Well, prepare yourself because mine's going to be all about you and little P."

I laughed before pulling away and walking over to the table, lowering myself into the seat. "Do we have OJ?"

True grinned. "Fresh squeezed, coming right up." He grabbed an orange from the basket on the counter, tossing it between his hands.

Internally, I was freaking out a little bit. Despite his reassurance, telling my parents had gone horribly, and I was scared about what his mom and dad might do or say. I didn't know if I was up for another screaming match and disowning. Hopefully, it wouldn't come to that.

This time tomorrow, we'd be in LA, and everyone would know about the baby. I wasn't sure whether to be more excited or terrified, but either way, after tomorrow, I could stop stressing, and that could only be a good thing.

I still couldn't getover the fact that True had a private jet at his disposal anytime he wanted. Well, almost any time. It belonged to the band, so if one of the other guys was using it, then he couldn't, but most of the time, their plans didn't overlap, so it worked.

We climbed the steps and settled into our seats. Hilda stopped in front of us. "Can I get you two something to drink before takeoff?"

"Do you have sparkling water?" I asked, storing my bag away so it wouldn't slide around.

"Sure. And for you?" She turned to True.

"I'll have the same, Hilda. Thanks." He turned to me as she walked away. "Ready to do this?"

I blew out a breath, twisting my hands together. He pulled my hands apart and gripped one of mine in his. "Yes and no. I'm nervous about what your parents are going to say after what happened with mine."

"I get that, but my parents aren't like yours. My mom's been bugging me for like two years to settle down. I promise she's going to be excited."

My nerves calmed a little, and as we took off, I laid my head on his shoulder and tried not to focus on what we'd be doing this weekend. Instead, I just inhaled his delicious scent and tried to relax. In a couple of hours, we'd be in LA, and everything would get a little bit more real.

After we landed,we climbed into True's Jeep and made the quick drive to his condo. He carried up our bags, and I found myself sinking into his comfy sofa, staring longingly out the back doors at the ocean. Even though it was busier here than where I lived in Washington, being in True's house and looking at the sea was relaxing. Watching the waves was helping me calm down.

True came around behind me and hugged me to his chest, resting his chin on top of my head. "I figured we'd relax for an hour or two and then head to my parent's house. Are you okay with that?"

I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Can we go for a walk on the beach before we go?"

I could hear the smile in his voice. "Hell, yes. I've missed the beach almost as much as I missed you and little P before I decided I'd had enough of being apart. I swear I have saltwater running through my veins."

His fingertips ran across my bare shoulder and left tingles in their wake, tingles that ran straight to my core. I hummed, and he lowered his head, pressing his warm lips to the back of my neck. I shifted my head to the side to give him better access, and I couldn't help the moan that escaped my lips.

"True?"

"Hmm?" His lips were moving across the skin of my neck and shoulder, lightly sucking and kissing a fiery path that was driving me insane.

"Before we go for a walk," I closed my eyes and tried to focus on forming coherent words as his hand lowered down into my tank top and cupped my breast, his thumb lightly stroking my hardened nipple.

"Before we go for a walk, what?" His hot breath brushed across my neck as he spoke.

"I…" Shit, I couldn't even talk.
