I laugh and say with a wink, "Let's make my sweet Bulldozer drool."

Charlotte looks at her mom. "Is Uncle Cole really going to drool?"

Emma giggles and touches her girl's cheek. "No, honey."

The sweet seven-year-old frowns and is ready to fire her next question, but when she hears my mom saying it's time to go downstairs, she leaves the topic alone. Everyone leaves, and I stop in front of the window and glance outside until a loud gasp makes me turn.

"Ladybug," my dad says with a choked voice while closing the distance between us. "Lord heavens. You look sensational, honey." He opens his arms, and I hug his frame.

"Thanks."

"Oh, I should saythank youfor being the light in your mother's and my life."

My emotions rise. "Dad, don't make me ruin my makeup."

He places a kiss on my forehead. "Fine. In that case, let's go before your future husband thinks you're reenacting theRunaway Bride."

I chuckle and slip my arm through his as we cruise out.

Cole

"You knowyou don't have the superpower to open the door with your relentless stare, don’t you?" Brian jokes, standing on my right side.

Nick taps me on my shoulder and mumbles, "You have it, don't you?"

"Have what?" I whisper, without withdrawing my view from the entrance.

"A racing pulse, sweaty palms, and that nauseating sensation in the pit of your stomach," my best friend and business associate explains.

I scratch my beard while patting my other palm over my pants. How the fuck does he know?

Nick chuckles. "Relax, it’s normal It's precisely what I went through when I waited for my angel."

I pull on the collar of my shirt. Why is it so hot in here?

"Don't sweat it, Bulldozer. If she runs, I'll go after her."

"You know our Fox friend is joking; Alisha will appear. We're thrilled you found your dream woman," Nick says.

"Oh, I know he’s joking. He's envious of both of us since we found our match, while he still struggles to find a woman that can put up with his shit."

Brian throws out a few curse words as Nick chuckles at my payback response. I stop talking when a melody flows through the air, and the door opens. My heartbeat spikes, and my lips curl as Charlotte, followed by Samantha, enters the room.

I can't stop staring at my gorgeous daughter, and when our eyes meet, gratitude fills my soul. I silently thank Jessica for raising her to be such a wonderful individual. Being her father has been the biggest gift in my life. The first weeks together were challenging for both of us, but now our relationship is strong. Our mutual passion for the piano has brought us even closer, and I enjoy every minute I spend with her. It reminds me of the bond I had with my dad in my younger years. Having the joy of playing an instrument back in my life has been life-changing. And I'm not doubting that my old man is guiding his granddaughter by standing next to her every time she plays. I'm proud that I've given this specific Walker gene to her. My eyes flash to my mother sitting next to Jeremy. Both carry a wide smile on their face as they watch the two young women coming closer.

When the girls take a seat in the front row, Amanda, Bella, and Emma enter. I glimpse at my two best buddies and check out how Brian's eyes blaze with a profound desire as they land on Amanda. Her eyes flash to two different men, and her cheeks fluster under their attention. It wasn't my idea to invite the rooster, but since he’s Alisha’s old neighbor and Amanda and Steven are in the early dating stages, I agreed. Maybe seeing them together will wake up my stubborn friend.

Emma's face brightens when she stares at her husband. The bond between them is admirable. Nick has grown into a full-on family man. He's still a fierce entrepreneur, buthisEmma, Charlotte, and little Liam come first. No matter what. And he's never been happier. The girls stand across from us, and my heart is in my throat, waiting for Alex to enter. The door slides open, and my breath freezes.

"Holy fuck. Is she real?" My two best men, who pick up on this, both laugh at my genuine admiration. Her beauty is out of this world, as she strides towards me over the red carpet next to her father. My eyes skim over her wedding dress. It sticks to her body like a second skin while her warm honey-colored hair flows in waves around her face. Our eyes meet, and she fires a dazzling smile that could bring an army of men to their knees. She's an angel sent straight out of paradise, but when my view settles on her mouth, my smile widens. She is wearing my favorite ruby red lipstick. It's the same color she wore when we met here at Six-Pack. Those luscious lips tell me not to get fooled by her angelic image. Underneath that smooth silk lives a fiery and passionate woman, and I can't wait to make her my wife. My heart gallops in my rib cage when she finally stands before me. She hugs her father before placing her hand in mine.

"You're stunning."

Alex’s face beams, and her gaze darts over my black tuxedo.

"Very handsome," she returns.
