It’s missing something.

“I think they look amazing,” Robert commented. He smiled. “Now I can’t wait to see the website when you’re done.” He paused. “Areyouhappy with them?”

Sol had a feeling not a lot got past Robert Thorston.

“Sort of.”

Toby frowned. “But Robert’s right. Theyareamazing. So what’s wrong with them?”

Sol opened the folder again and scrolled through the photos. There was the show bedroom Toby had set up, the bathroom, long shots of the main room, close-ups of the equipment, the exterior of the barn…

Then it hit him.

“You got your leathers here?” he asked Toby.

“Dude.” Toby smiled. “Everything Iownis here. I moved here permanently at the end of last month, remember? I sold my apartment in San Francisco. But why do you want my leathers?”

“How would you like to be on the website?”

Toby blinked. “Say what?”

He pointed to a photo of the main room. “It needs people.”

“I’m not sure I’m cut out to be a model.”

Sol got his phone out and scrolled through his images. “Look.” He showed some of them to Toby and Robert. “I take photos of my clients—to show what I can do—but I never include faces. Sowedon’t include faces, okay? I can do shots from behind, whatever you want…”

Toby glanced at Robert, who shook his head. “Youcan, but leave me out of this. I’m not comfortable doing it.”

Sol patted his arm. “And that’s totally okay.” He grinned. “Toby, however, is much more of an exhibitionist.” He flashed a quick grin. “Even if he doesn’t want to admit it.”

Toby snorted. “Wow. It’s as if you know me.” He frowned. “But won’t it look weird if there’s only me in the photos?”

Sol had already thought of that. “Iwasgoing to ask Butch if he’d help out.”

Toby gaped. “You really think he’s going to let you dress him up in leathers? Besides, I don’t think mine would fit him.”

Sol chuckled. “I didn’t have leather in mind, just jeans and boots. I wouldn’t show his face either. Maybe a close-up of his ass with you holding a paddle to it, or him lying face down and your hand holding a flogger, its tails splayed out on his back. That kinda thing. We’re not talking porn, more… artistic.”

Toby grinned again. “Sure, you can ask him, but I think you already know what the answer will be.”

“Then let’s go find him.” Not that Sol was convinced either. Butch might be more open about his sexuality—it didn’t mean he’d be ready to step out of his comfort zone tothatextent.

Robert glanced at his watch. “They’ll be back from the trail by now, so everyone will be in the bunkhouse.”

“I won’t ask him in front of the guests.” Especially one guest in particular.

“If the worst happens and he says no, these photos will be just fine,” Robert assured him.

Sol was hoping for a better outcome than that.

Then a thought occurred to him.

“The guys don’t know I’m into BDSM. As far as they’re concerned, I’m a web designer who happens to be your friend. Even Butch thinks I just did a lot of research.”

“And you want it to stay that way?” Toby asked, his head cocked.

“Hey, I share a room with these guys, okay? I want them to feel comfortable around me.”
