With a sense of conviction, I turned to Mason first. Cupping his face, I kissed him deeply, feeling the weight of every word he’d just spoken. I pulled away, looking into his eyes, then whispered, “Thank you.”

Turning to Bodhi, the lightness in the air was palpable. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my lips to his, the spark between us unmistakable. Pulling back, I winked. “Always up for a wild ride.”

Finally, I approached Liam, and his blue eyes danced with mischief. “Stuck with you, huh?” I teased before pressing my lips to his, feeling the solid assurance he always provided.

Settling back onto the couch, I found myself comfortably nestled between them, each offering their own warmth and embrace. As the movie resumed, its predictable plot twists and idealized romance unfolding on screen, I couldn’t help but smile.

Bodhi’s arm draped over my shoulder, Mason’s hand intertwined with mine, and Liam’s comforting presence at my back provided a cocoon of love and safety. The images of the Christmas movie romance paled in comparison to the electric connection I felt with my three men.

“Who needs movie romance,” I mused aloud, “when reality is so much better?”

The guys chuckled in agreement. “Our story,” Liam pressed a kiss to my temple, “is only just beginning.”

Looking up from my now empty mug, an idea began to form. “Since you guys are going back home on the twenty-third, how about we do a mini-Christmas celebration? We can do it before Eric arrives on the twenty-first.”

Bodhi’s eyes lit up. “I love that idea. But Eric is coming in a few days. Today is December eighteenth, right? we’d have to do it tomorrow or the next day.”

“How about we get gifts and groceries tomorrow, and celebrate the day before Eric arrives?” Mason said.

“Perfect,” I replied. “Tomorrow, we go out and buy presents. But remember, it’s the thought, not the price, that matters.”

CHAPTER17

Bodhi

Waking up with Zoey in my arms was the perfect start to the morning. Her naked ass was nestled against my groin, and it only took seconds for my dick to respond. My arms wrapped around her body, and I squeezed her, pulling her closer. The heat of her skin against mine made me even harder.

She moved gently, signaling she was waking up, and she wiggled her ass against me.

Game on.

Just as I was about to act on my impulses, my phone vibrated on the nightstand. Its persistent buzz broke the spell. I sat up and picked up my phone, and the caller ID read, ‘Mom.’

My gut clenched, an involuntary reaction built over years of complicated family dynamics. We had a good relationship, but it was strained after my brother’s betrayal. If I didn’t answer the call, my mom would just keep calling, so I figured I’d better get it out of the way.

“Hey, Mom,” I greeted, attempting to keep my voice light.

“Bodhi.” Her voice held that familiar maternal mix of warmth and worry. “I hope I didn’t wake you.”

“No, I was awake. What’s up?”

She hesitated, taking a moment longer than usual. “I just wanted to let you know… Tyler will be coming home this Christmas.”

A jolt of surprise went through me. This was his year to spend the holidays with his wife—my ex-girlfriend.

“Why?” I asked, trying to mask the frustration in my voice.

“Claudia’s mom got sick with the flu,” Mom replied, her voice soft yet firm. “She doesn’t want to risk getting the baby sick.”

The mention of the baby brought back hurtful memories. Although he wasn’t technically a baby anymore. At first, when my brother told me he’d gotten my girlfriend pregnant, my family took my side.

But after the baby was born, my parents refused to alienate their grandchild and begged me to forgive my brother. I was expected to welcome my ex-girlfriend into our family as my sister-in-law and forget that both she and my brother had been fucking behind my back.

My mom was right about one thing—it wasn’t the kid’s fault, and I would never blame him. But that didn’t mean I had to have a relationship with my brother, Claudia, or their son.

“I don’t know if I’m ready to see him,” I admitted, running a hand through my tousled hair.

“Bodhi,” she began, her voice gentle, “how long will you two keep this up? It’s Christmas, a time for reconciliation and new beginnings.”
