“Yeah,” I say. "Let's go."

Walking down the aisle on my mother’s arm is an experience. I try not to look at anybody else, but I spot a few people in the crowd including Jonah and Rena. That’s before I look at Oliver, though, because once I see him, it’s like no one else exists in the room. All I can see is his eyes.

And when I’m standing close to him, it's still like there’s no more air in the room because it's filled with him and all I can breathe is him.

I take a deep breath but it’s not enough and I’m nearly passing out.

Luckily, he wraps his hand around my waist and pulls me closer, and kisses me right in the middle of the church, with applause and shouts exploding around us and with the pastor saying “Hold on now, folks, we’re not at that part yet.”

After this, there are a lot of words being said and most of it is a blur because all I see is the look in his eyes when he promises to love and cherish me forever and when he says that he will always be there for me.

And the next time he pulls me into a kiss, I’m officially declared as his wife.

The opening of the bakery is with a bang.

There is a line right out the door an hour before it opens and the first hundred pastries sell out in less than an hour. I'm in the back making more with Luis of all people. To my surprise, ever since the stalking incident, he's been a lot nicer to me.

I don't know why, but I haven't questioned it

Luckily, Jonah isn't open today, allowing April and Luis to stop by and help me out.

Even Oliver is here as he has handled most of the sales aspect. He also stays at the front when even more customers come in, taking orders and charming the guests.

We must have served nearly five hundred people today and I'm glad that we close around three.

“Alright,” he says after the tiring day. "You definitely need to hire two or three people to help you run this."

“Was it successful?” I ask, laying sprawled on one of the tables, too exhausted to even move.

"Are you kidding?" He glances at me like I've lost my mind. "It is a fucking successful launch and if every day is even close to what we made today, you’re looking at a six-figure year easily.”

I gape at him. “I could make six figures?"

“Yup,” he smiles proudly. “And we’re talking six figures of pure profit. You’ll be buying me a new McLaren in no time.

I laugh because I know now that he’s joking. He told me weeks ago that he never actually intended for me to pay for the car, after that first night. He just kept saying it to irritate me, because according to him, "You’re pretty hot when you’re mad.”

And while I know I should be irritated at that, I love him too much to mind.

Eventually, I manage to roll off the table and Oliver carries me upstairs, where my mom is playing with Paxton. He’s officially fourteen months old and he’s such a happy kid constantly laughing and chattering away for anyway who will listen. He grabs the couch to get himself up and extends his arms to me, blabbering nonsense away.

"Mommy's home," I say and his face lights up when I reach for him.

But before I can do more than just kiss his pretty little face, Oliver is taking him from my arms and guiding me to the other couch instead.

"Not now," he tells his son nuzzling his neck. "Mommy needs to rest."

The little boy cocks his head and when Oliver looks at him, he levels the perfect frown at his dad. Oliver imitates his frown right back at him, and eventually tickles a laugh out of him, and I have to laugh at the picture they make.

He tosses the giggling boy into the air for some playtime, tenderly kissing his nose after every toss, in a move so sweet that it makes me teary.

And as I look at the picture created by Oliver, my mom, and my son, all surrounding the fireplace, I can't help but think that this is the happiest I've ever been in my life.

And I can’t wait to see what else life will bring.

I know we are wishing for a few more little ones to bring even more life to this house, and as hard as working will be during those first few months after they get here, I know that with these people by my side I can now take on the world.

The End
