Just minutes ago, the Highblade press secretary issued the supposedly joyous announcement of the wedding of H.M. Zoei Highblade and H.H. Olympia Summerstream.
You heard that right, valued readers—wedding, not betrothal.
The shocking statement was released amereeight weeks after the controversial end of Princess Olympia’s long-term betrothal to public favorite, Cryssa Angelwaithe.
Attached are pictures of the private affair distributed by the Highblade clan. The wedding took place in a quiet monastery in Highblade Palace, with the head priestess officiating. H.M. Oreani Summerstream can be seen dabbing at tears in the background as the Alphas embrace in their first kiss as mates.
The drastic shift of events leaves us wondering if Angelwaithe’s departure from the public eye was in direct correlation to the surprise announcement. Although rumored to be in close contact with Queen Oreani, Angelwaithe was not in attendance at the wedding.

Emberleigh Highblade, illegitimate child of H.M. Zoei Highblade, and daughter of the Cray fortune, Zavery Cray, has been appointed heir to the Kingdom of Agnivale. The new Alpha princess of the Highblade clan was born ten years ago within Highblade Palace walls. Although young, she has been lauded as a skilled fire sorcerer and sword handler, just like her Sire.
The announcement was made by none other than H.H. Olympia Summerstream. Addressing the press associates earlier today, the royal starling looked flushed with happiness while delivering the news. Although still on active royal duty, this was Princess Olympia’s first appearance in public since the hush-hush wedding almost a year ago.
When asked if there would be a clash of interest between Emberleigh and the future Highblade-Summerstream heir, Princess Olympia did not appear concerned.
“Emberleigh is our flesh and blood,” she proclaimed to the gathered press. “As Zoei’s firstborn, it is only right that Leigh inherits her Sire’s title and lands. The royal’s response was open and candid.
“Not right now,” she responded with a wink. “Although we constantly bicker about who would carry an heir.”

Former councilperson turned researcher retrieved from Valley University explosion
Trapped under rubble for thirty-six hours and presumed dead, the barely-breathing body of former Vetri Councilperson Dr. Cryssa Angelwaithe was pulled from a mountain of debris at Valley University.
Having retired from the public eye almost half a decade ago, Angelwaithe has been living a quiet life in the countryside. She redirected her efforts into a career as a researcher specializing in advanced adrenal gland experimentation at Valley University in the borders between Agnivale and Vetri.
The cause of the explosion is yet unknown, although it is said to have originated from Angelwaithe’s lab. Angelwaithe is currently in urgent care and suffers from heavy scarring on her right cheek and brow.
Her Sire, Agricultural Minister Arlo Angelwaithe, has been spotted at Valley University Hospital. Staff revealed toSecretsthat he has not left her side since the incident, and insists that he will remain there until she regains consciousness.
