His voice comes in echoes. I slump over the saddle, nausea turning my stomach, and hope to survive what my body needs.
“Ari.” Kiaran’s face swims into view sometime later. He’s pulling me down from the saddle and I let him. He gathers me in his arms, swings me up against his chest, his face a pale shape over me, his eyes bright like candles. “You’ll be okay.”
I rest my head on his shoulder and draw in his scent, my body instantly tightening, my core clenching. I’m already getting wet between my legs, and I ache.
How I ache for him.
I whine low in my throat, running my hand over his bare chest. His hair, untangled and loose now, tickles my face, and it smells of him—of pine and resin and spice.
“Here,” Taj says and my gaze swings to him. He’s leading the three horses toward a cluster of cypresses, tall and dark like black flames, interspersed with proud oaks. “We’ll camp here.”
My gaze follows his tall form, his broad back, his tight ass inside his black pants, his dark, tousled head, and a moan escapes me.
I want.
I want him. I want them both so badly I think I’m dying. I’ll die if I don’t get between them, naked, skin on skin, to touch and taste and feel.

Kiaran who is striding after Taj and the horses makes a shushing, soothing noise at me. It’s more of a purr, I think, rumbling through his chest, through me, and some of the pain fades.
Sighing, I close my eyes, trusting him, trusting both of them to help me.
I’ve never felt so needy, so helpless, so dependent on anyone in my life and it scares the crap out of me—but this is the whole point, isn’t it? That I need these men, that I chose them to be my family, to help me through this heat, and in return…

“Here, put her down here,” Taj says, interrupting my wandering thoughts. “Gently.”
“I am gentle,” Kiaran snaps and lowers me on top of soft fabric.
It’s Taj’s cloak, I realize belatedly, spread on a patch of soft grass under the vast umbrella of an oak’s branches and foliage. Kiaran kneels down beside me, looking like a forest god with his sculpted body and the remnants of the blue silk over his legs.
There’s a big tent in the silk.
He’s hard.
And just like that, the heat returns, and I reach for him. “Kia…”
He falls on me like a man famished, his lips colliding with mine, his tall body shoving me onto my back, lying heavy on top of me as he ravishes my mouth. It’s clumsy like the last time, brutal, his teeth clacking against mine, his teeth biting into my lips, his hard cock rubbing between my legs even as I spread them, welcoming him.

“Kia, let me. Kiaran!” Taj is there, kneeling beside us, a familiar tent in his dark pants, his eyes blazing. “Don’t tear her dress, we don’t have another. Move!”
I clutch at Kiaran’s shoulders, to keep him there, even as he pulls his mouth from mine. “No!”
“I’ll undress you,” Taj growls, “and then we’ll pleasure you as you deserve, kitten.”
