“This woman left me, forgot me, cut me out of her memories, and ran to the one place on earth she knew I’d never go, but I still found her. She still felt the connection between us and she fell in love with me again. What about that epic love story did you miss and when did you ever think, ‘I tried to poison a woman’ would make me want you? You’re sick Eliza and we will make sure you get the help you need, but just know that while you’re locked up where you belong, Nee and I will be living our life together, happy and in love.

“And married,” I smiled, pressing his hand to my lips.

“Nooooooo,” she screamed. “She doesn’t even remember you.”

“You’re wrong. My head might not remember, but my heart, my soul, every cell in my body, they remember Archer. He’s my forever, my happy ending, my everything. Now, let’s get this woman out of here because we have a wedding to get to.”

Epilogue

Archer

“Wedding?”Ispluttered,confused.

“You can say no, Arch, and I promise, I won’t be offended, but after everything, I don’t want to wait. Everyone is here. Your sisters are at the hotel, the rest of the Gods, Fox, Lea, Charlie, Dawson, Marshall, even Pete is in on it.”

Pete shrugged from the doorway.

“But…”

“Marry me, Arch. Today. Spend your life with me. I want to be with you forever. I don’t care that I can’t remember our past. You’ve done such a good job of reminding me, but now I want to look forward. I want a future with you.”

I froze, losing the ability to speak, hating everyone’s eyes on me, but she noticed. “Can you all give us a minute?”

When the room emptied, she pulled back the sheets and beckoned me closer. I kneeled up on the bed and she pulled me so I straddled her lap.

“You doing okay there, Arch?”

I shook my head.

“Talk to me.”

“I feel like this is a dream. That I’m going to wake up and you’ll be gone. Eliza told you the truth about one thing. I did try to drink myself to death when you vanished. I’m starting to think I’m unconscious somewhere, dreaming that you’re here and you want me again.”

She pressed a kiss to the pulse hammering in my neck. “I’m here, Arch. I’m so sorry I made the choices I made. I was trying to protect you, but I don’t want to protect you anymore. I want to run headfirst into our future. I might get sick again, you might get sick, or fat, or go bald,” she giggled. “But no matter what the future holds, I want to go through it with you. Marry me?”

Nee reached up, cupping my cheeks and pulling my mouth to hers. I groaned loudly as she pressed her tongue to my lips, pushing through, exploring my mouth until my cock was hard and my body ached for her.

“You used to hate kissing,” I murmured against her lips.

“I know. You wrote it in your memory book.”

“I always wondered why that changed with me… sorry, stupid question. Of course you don’t remember.”

She sighed, her breath dancing off my lips. “Of course I do, because I still feel it now. Your lips feel like coming home. You feel like home, Arch. I meant what I said to Eliza. My head might not remember our past, but my body, my heart, my soul, they all remember everything about you. Like you're imprinted on me.”

I groaned. “So we get married today?”

“If you want to. No pressure,” she replied, pressing a light kiss to the corner of my mouth.

“And what about a honeymoon?”

“Well, I can’t fly for another month and Dawson mentioned to Addi you asked for three months off, so maybe we stay in the US, hire a motorhome, and have an adventure.”

“And what about kids?”

“I asked the doctor if I could have them, you know, after everything. He thinks we should wait for a year just to make sure everything is still okay and I’m off all my meds, but then there’s no reason we can’t try. I want to try with you, Arch. I want four.”

“Four?”
