“Yes.” I smiled. “You?”

He rubbed his hand over his face before rolling on his side to look at me. “Well, that’s the most intense orgasm I’ve had this week, which says something after the one I had last night that made me pass out.”

“You good though? You got to orange. Am I pushing you too much?”

“No, but fuck, it hurt. My cock has never been so hard or my balls so full.”

I pressed a kiss to his cheek. “As long as you’re sure. I only want to do this if you’re enjoying it.”

“I am. Now can I thank you by showing you just how huge my bathtub is?”

“You want to take a bath together?”

“I do if you do.”

“Oh, I absolutely do,” I giggled, grabbing his hand and pulling him from the bed to the bathroom.

Chapter 9

Archer - 1 month later

Me:I’mbackat6. You going to be home?

Ionee: No. I’ll be at yours. I’ve been keeping your plants alive, remember? I’ll order us dinner for when you get back.

Me: I could get used to coming home to you.

Ionee: Well, I’m not sure I like you being away, so you have some making up to do.

Me: Did you have something in mind?

Ionee: Let’s just play and see where it goes.

Me: *Hot face emoji* I’ll see you soon.

Nee and I had been messing about for a few weeks before I had to go away with the band. We did a couple of gigs in the US along with lots of interviews about the new album. I was exhausted, but all I wanted was her. I didn’t want to admit it and ruin what we had, but I had missed her so much; she was all I could think about. We’d talked every day, texted constantly, we’d had phone sex… a lot, and she’d kept an eye on Mum and the girls for me. I’d never had a relationship, but I wished I had one like the one I had with her. She was perfect. But I knew it was because she felt some weird need to help me grow and break free from the sexual rut I’d gotten stuck in and I knew I shouldn’t get attached.

I opened the front door to my house and the warmth and smell of something tasty greeted me.

“Hi, honey, I’m home,” I called as I dropped my bags to the floor, resetting the alarm behind me.

“Archer,” Ionee screamed, running toward me wearing one of my hoodies and not much else. Leaping into my arms, she buried her face into my neck, taking a long, deep breath. “The plants have missed you,” she whispered against my skin.

Pressing my hand against the small of her back, I carried her through to the living room. “I missed them too,” I murmured as sank onto the couch. “Smells good in here.”

“I ordered your favorite. You want to eat?”

“I do, but I’m so jetlagged, I don’t think I can keep my eyes open for more than ten minutes.”

She pulled back, stroking her fingers down my face, tracing the outline of my profile. “You look exhausted. How about we take the food to bed? I’ll feed you and then you can pass out.”

“Hhhmmm, that wasn’t what I had in mind for tonight, but it’s probably all I can manage. You don’t mind?”

“No, Arch. I don’t mind. Come on.”

I didn’t manage to eat anything because the minute my body touched the bed, I lost the battle with my jetlag. I had no idea how long I’d been asleep, but I was ripped from my dreams by an ear piercing noise echoing through the house.

Surrounded by my sleep-filled grogginess, I struggled to focus until I heard the panic in Ionee’s voice.
