“Sorry. My suitcase vanished. I’m here now and ready to watch my best friend’s fiancé on stage with his bandmates.”One of which I may or may not have a thing for.

We sang and danced our way through the next few hours until I was sweaty and my voice hoarse.

“Thank you for coming, Lea. Celebrating this wouldn’t be the same without you,” Nee yelled in my ear in between songs. “I keep thinking it’s all too perfect and something’s going to go wrong.”

I shook my head disbelievingly. “You two are soul mates. You’re meant to be together.”

Her head turned as Archer walked off stage toward her as if no one else in the world existed, kissing her like she gave him air. I stepped back into the shadows, letting out a sigh as I tried to hide from Fox. Out of nowhere, Dawson appeared next to me.

“You look beautiful. I liked what you had on earlier, but I like this better.” I looked down at my white, sheer, wrap around blouse and pink sequined-covered mini skirt, that I’d matched with a pair of nude heels. It made me laugh because Nee hated shoes of any kind, but I loved my heels; the higher, the better. “Sorry, was it weird, me telling you that?”

I sucked in a breath, filling my lungs with his fresh scent that seemed to calm the anxiety that had flooded my body since I stepped off the plane.

“Not weird. I appreciate the compliment.” He offered me a formal nod as I turned my back to the stage. “Dawson.” I leaned into him. “Can you do me a favor?” Before he could reply, I continued. “Can you pretend we’re deep in conversation and I’m the funniest person you’ve ever spoken to?”

“No.”

“Please.”

“I don’t play games. I know you have a thing with Fox and I’m not getting in the middle.”

“God, I’m the worst,” I muttered. “Sorry. It’s just he’s a lot and I need a moment before we talk.”

Dawson let out a breath before a short laugh spilled from his lips as he leaned into me like we were having the best conversation. “Thank you,” I whispered.

“You owe me,” he mumbled back.

Fox

Iknewshewascoming, but I didn’t think anything prepared me for seeing Lea. Her long, dark hair was down, cascading over her sheer top… and that skirt. Fuck, what I wanted to do to her in that skirt.

I’d slept with her a lot. Me and my bandmate Charlie had shared her for a while, but once I caught feelings for her, he’d backed off. And then when Lea found out how I felt about her, she’d run a mile and, despite me texting her every day, I’d not heard back from her since.

Watching her with Dawson stirred up a whole load of emotion. I wondered if she was trying to make me jealous, but, as I’d tried to explain to her once, my brain didn’t work like that. While some people might have felt betrayed that the person they loved was talking to other people, I saw the potential. I had a thing for groups; the more the merrier. I wasn’t a one woman man… in fact, I wasn’t just into women, so seeing her with Dawson sparked a plethora of potential scenarios that made my cock harden.

After our final encore, I left the stage to find her, but she’d vanished and so had Dawson, and I couldn’t stop fantasizing about what they might be getting up to as I traveled back to the hotel.

Stripping off and stepping into the shower, I let the hot water spill over me. The adrenalin of the night buzzed through me, making my dick ache and my mind wander to thoughts of Lea. I wrapped my hand around my shaft, groaning as I remembered her smile, her outfit, how she looked leaning into Dawson. Then I let myself revel in the memories of what it felt like to be inside her, the noises she made as her arousal grew, how her body bowed as she neared her release, and how fucking sexy it was when she came.

Without warning, cum coated the shower wall as I slammed my hand against the tile to keep me upright, panting at the idea of touching her again… or watching someone else touch her.

Turning the shower down as cold as I could get it, I rinsed off, trying not to let my mind wander again. When I couldn’t take it anymore, I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my waist, blocking out the thought that Lea was somewhere close by.

In the living room, I took a beer from the mini fridge, flipped off the lid, and took a long swig, groaning as it hit the perfect spot just as a knock sounded on the door. Assured it was someone I knew because security had us all locked down to keep us safe, I strode over, unlocking it and pulling it open.

“Le?” I gasped, seeing her standing there, wearing the same outfit as earlier, but now barefoot.

Her eyes widened as she took me in. “Can I come in?”

I moved to one side, nodding to Lenny, my security guard who stepped back, closing the door behind him.

“Drink?”

She nodded at my beer, so I handed her mine and grabbed another one for myself.

“So, you enjoyed the gig?” I asked.

She smiled.Fuck, I loved that smile.“I did. It was amazing. You guys are always so good.”
