With a jolt, he felt the landing system of his space ship engage. They had arrived.

CHAPTER5

Aubrie bit her lip, watching as the alien planet she was now to call home came into view. Her body throbbed, still terribly aroused from being forced to take Edagon’s cock in her mouth. Her bottom tingled from the threat of his punishment and she shivered as the memory of it washed over her.

The collar surrounded her throat tightly and the soft, silky dress hugged her skin. She was grateful for it, having forgotten how nice truly elegant fabric felt against her skin. Glancing over to Edagon, she enjoyed the sight of his firm muscles before once again peeking out the nearby window.

The space ship hurtled toward the surface of what she vaguely recognized as the planet Venassathi. She knew little of it, other than the red and orange clouds that cloaked it from probing satellites. Earth had tried to gather information on the foreign planet at one point, but the cloud cover blocked their technology, and they could not probe through it. Based on information from President Rayne, though, her platoon had been sent to defend against them. According to counterintelligence, it had appeared Venassathi forces had been preparing to attack. As reigning commander, Aubrie had been sent to prevent the possible confrontation.

No one had known why the Venassathi would attack them though.

As the small vessel broke through the cloud cover, Aubrie saw a massive city landscape sprawl below her. The urban setting was surrounded in what looked to be a thick glass bubble.

“What’s that?” she asked in wonder, gazing down at the strange structure.

“That’s what we like to call The Dome. It protects our kind, as well as humankind, from the poisonous vapors that exist within the red clouds. It allows us to breathe so we can live in safety,” Edagon explained.

The ship slowed as it approached the dome. A small enclosed entryway opened upon their approach, capturing them in a much smaller mini-dome.

“What’s happening now?”

“The systems here are engaging to create a vacuum with us inside it. My ship is sealed, so that we are safe, but the air outside my vessel is being cleared out entirely. When that process is complete, we will be able to enter the dome and continue our travel to my home,” he said.

The process didn’t take very long, and before she knew it, the dome opened for them and they were inside, flying through the sky toward the ground. She watched as he entered very specific coordinates, committing them to memory in case she would ever need to remember them again. He didn’t even attempt to hide them from her.

A few minutes later, the ship settled on a concrete platform at the top of a very tall skyscraper. Edagon took her arm within his and led her off the vessel, leaving her little choice.

A regiment of military men dressed in full uniform met her view, bowing upon the approach of their commander. Remembering herself, she studied her surroundings, knowing that if she were ever to report back to Earth, she’d have to remember every single detail.

The alien men all looked similar to Edagon, complete with tanned skin with a golden shimmer. Dark horns emerged from the foreheads of each man. But, none had the confidence or powerful presence that Edagon exuded. When he entered the room, he commanded their attention. She did note fear and respect in their eyes though, telling her that Edagon had clearly earned his position as commander for the Venassathi forces.

No one looked at her, and no one spoke to her, almost as if their eyes had immediately passed over her. As Edagon’s slave, it was clear she had no standing. With a heavy swallow, she followed Edagon off the high platform through a nearby steel door. They descended down a level and their military escort continued on their way, leaving her and Edagon beside a large, bolted steel door. He placed his palm over an electronic reader and the massive door slid open.

“Follow me,” he said quietly and she obeyed.

The two of them entered into a grand foyer, complete with a gorgeous crystal chandelier above them. The walls, painted with gold filigree, gave his home a rich and opulent feel that she’d never seen before, especially not on his ship.

“Before you say anything about this place, I’d like to explain that it wasn’t my design. The military commander is sent to live here, and it’s been designed with a certain set of protections meant to keep myself, as well as anyone with me, completely safe,” he said, looking around him with an expression of disgust. “This really isn’t my style.”

“I did notice the design is a little different from your ship,” she murmured.

“Come, it’s getting late. Let’s get to bed, Aubrie. I’ll introduce you to Venassathi tomorrow,” he said, his expression giving away his exhaustion. He held out his hand for her. Tentatively, she approached him and followed him into an equally opulent bedroom.

He helped her undress, but left her collar on and helped her to climb into bed.

“Edagon?”

“Yes, Aubrie,” he responded as he climbed into bed beside her.

“Why do you think I was told that Venassathi was going to attack Earth, if what you say was true? That you were never going to attack us?”

“I have no idea, Aubrie. I know little about Earth, other than the fact it’s in a small solar system far away. There’s nothing we want from it, either resources or technology. My people have never been involved in the slave trade either, you just happened to be captured by our allies the Klintok. They brought you to Minaria, where I found you,” he said.

She picked at the comforter beneath her, trying to recall the names of the other aggressors that she’d been told about, the ones that wanted to rule Earth and steal away humans for purposes unknown.

“You wouldn’t lie to me, right? Not about this?”

“No. I have no reason to lie. I own you. As far as I know, neither I nor my allies have any interest in a puny archaic planet such as Earth. Last I heard, they were so caught up in their own greed and corruption that no one in the universe wanted anything to do with them.”
