Becca blushed.

“Don’t you mean the scene of the crime?” she shot back.

"I wasn't going to mention the last time we were there, but since you brought it up."

"I did no such thing!"

"Your face did."

She folded her arms over her chest, drawing my attention to her full breasts. "It wasn't my best night." She placed two fingers against her temple. "I've never drunk so much in my life. However, I wasn’t the one who almost got us kicked out,” Becca quipped.

"Me?"

"Yes, you fought a guy."

"Almost fought a guy,” I corrected. Becca shot me an exasperated look.

I continued, “I don't think we’ll have a repeat of what happened that night. This is for a birthday party."

“Whose birthday is it?” she asked.

“A friend,” I replied. Becca arched her eyebrows.

“You have friends?” she blurted before clapping her hand over her mouth.

“I’m sorry, that was terrible of me. It’s just the only person I’ve ever seen you talk to is Albert,” she explained. "Because most of the time, you're so rude," she added.

"Okay."

"Arrogant."

"Okay."

"Condescending."

"I think you've made your point," I said, trying not to cringe.

She laughed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so harsh."

"It's all good," I said, smiling. "Sometimes a man doesn't like to be reminded of his faults."

She crossed her legs, and I glimpsed her pale blue panties, and my cock twitched with need.

"Tell me about him.”

"His name is Simon Thomas, and he's a lawyer. We met in college, and we've been close since. The party will be a good chance for you to meet him and some of our associates.”

“I’m excited to meet him,” she added.

"What type of law does he practice?" she asked.

"He does a lot of corporate law. He's one of the top lawyers in Boston."

I could see the wheels spinning in her head. "I think I've heard of him. Is he with the firm Albright, Dean, and Associates?"

"Yes."

Becca nodded. “I think I've read some of his papers in theHarvard Law Review."
