I slip inside of her, groaning loudly at how good this feels. I can feel her body tighten around me, but she lets out a deep, loud moan as she adjusts to me being inside of her.
I rest my weight on my elbows as I connect our lips again, slowly moving my hips against hers. She bites down on my bottom lip, tugging on it gently with her teeth.

Wefallasleeptogether,but the sound of people moving gear around us wakes me up. I don’t know how long we’re asleep for, but the room is light, sunlight streaming through the half-open curtains.
“Dom,” I say as I get to my feet. “Wake up.”
He stretches and yawns. “What time is it?”
I shake my head. “I don’t know, but I know we’re traveling tonight to get to the next show, and I have no doubt the rest of the band has already noticed my absence.”
“Shit,” he says, grabbing his clothes from the mattress as he does. “We really do need to go. I wanted to tell them before we got to the bus.”
“Why?”
“Because it would be easier to convince them all individually.”
“You don’t think they’re going to believe us?” I ask him.
He shrugs. “I don’t know,” he says. “You are a skeptic.”
“Yeah, but you’re right that we’ve seen weird things happen with Trine. I think I would be the hardest person to convince and I, you know, saw it with my own two eyes.”
“Right…”
He’s about to say something else when we hear the sound of someone knocking quietly against the door. This isn’t one of the girls in the band, they would’ve just walked in. “Come in,” I say.
Javi peers in from the ajar door. “Hi,” he says. “I just came to check in on you. I was getting worried.”
I feel a knot tighten at the pit of my stomach. We’re not together, exactly, but I should have probably talked to him before sleeping with Dom. That was absolutely the plan before a shadow creature tried to kill Dom, in any case.
