I want to watch her scream as she comes undone for us…tie her up and worship her body until she begs for relief. Make her come until she’s unsure of her own name. But there’s more: I need to see my mark on her. I want to spank her cute little ass until welts of my handprints decorate her silky flesh.

And I’m not the only one feeling this way. It’s clear that Noble and Duke have their distinct sordid desires they’ve kept in check for years. Women tend to shy away from a man with depraved kinks, let alone three at once.

Sol is different, though. I can feel it. She’s hiding her own darkness, her own deep desires locked up tighter than her voice. She may not realize it yet, but I could feel her curiosity last night. She’s in desperate need of a sexual awakening, and we’ll be the ones to give it to her.

Heading out of the room, I go down to the kitchen to make coffee, but what I find stops my heart. A little note sits propped up against the coffee machine.

Didn’t want to wake you guys, have a birthday party to perform at.

Be home around 11.

Sol

“What the fuck!” I shout into the room and hit the ground running as I go in search of Duke and Noble. They’re going to be fucking livid. “Wake the fuck up!” I pound on their doors as I head back to my room to put on a shirt and grab my holster and phone.

Pulling up Sol’s schedule, I don’t notice anything about performing at a party. “Nothing’s fucking here,” I mutter as I run into Duke in the hallway.

“What the hell, man?” He glares at me.

“Sol is gone,” I spit out as I head into her room, searching drawers for any kind of planner she might have with a schedule I don’t have access to.

“Lorde!” Duke calls after me. “Gone where?” I can feel his eyes assessing my movements; they’re erratic and slightly frantic, but I don’t fucking care. I don’t know where she is, and I need to.

“She left a note. A party or something.” Spearing Duke with a look, I glare at Noble as he walks up behind us, shirtless and hair ruffled. “Either of you know she performs for parties?” They share a look, and I have my answer. They had no idea either.

I’m slightly less aggravated realizing I’m not the only one in the dark. “I don’t think her parents knew because it wasn’t on the calendar they shared with me along with her schedule.”

Slamming the desk drawer closed, I’ve searched everywhere until an idea comes to me. I used to do it, so maybe she does, too. Especially if she’s hiding things from her parents.

Shoving my phone in my pocket, I reach under the mattress, feeling around until I hit pay dirt. “Here we go.” Opening the book to today’s date, it shows that she has a different schedule than the one her parents keep. “Interesting,” I murmur as I flip through the pages.

“She’s a mermaid?” I hear the grin in Duke’s voice as he peers over my shoulder. “I’m not even fucking shocked after the videos I’ve watched of her swimming competitions.”Honestly, neither am I.

“Looks like we’re crashing a party.” Noble sounds excited. To the casual observer, they’d think it’s because we’re about to make one hell of a fucking scene. It’s not. There’s anticipation for punishment in his tone and in the way he rubs his hands together. Noble wants to spank our little mermaid as desperately as I do.

“The cabin ready?” I glance at Duke.

“Been ready.” A wicked grin crosses his lips, and I can almost see the wheels turning in his head. “Had it stocked yesterday. Soon as we got the call.”

“I’ll bring the dog and the bird,” Noble offers, and I know it’s because he’s feeling out of control. “I’ll meet you all there in a couple of hours.” As we separate, Duke heads for the garage to get the SUV while I pack a bag for Sol. She won’t need much. I’ve got a good lead on who has been making threats against her, and it won’t be long until the situation is resolved. I only need for him to make a move.

“Ready?” Duke calls from the front door as Noble walks out with the animals and loads them into his vehicle.

As Duke and I head out in the direction of the address in Sol’s planner, I’m curious about what we’ll find. I’ve never heard of this mermaid performance she’s got going on. I assume it has something to do with water, but that’s all I can guess.

When we pull up to the house and follow the line of balloons leading to the backyard, to say I’m shocked is an understatement. Sol looks just like what I imagine a sea nymph would resemble. She’s stunning with her red hair braided in plaits and a crown of flowers and seashells adorning her head, but that’s not what wholly captivates me. No, that honor goes to the sound of her singing to the four and five-year-old girls sitting around the edge of the pool, mermaid tails covering their legs as Sol belts out some song that I’m sure is from that Disney mermaid movie.

“Holy fuck,” Duke groans as we watch, hidden from her view. I get the feeling if she knew we were here, she’d freeze up and stop singing.

“She’s fucking magical.” Crossing my arms, I lean against the house and observe as she makes the girls feel like little princesses by adorning their heads with matching crowns to hers. “You think she makes those?” I can picture her sitting in the sand or in the middle of her room on the floor, putting the pieces together with the same love and care as she hands them out.

Once her song is over, the women in the yard seem to break from her spell and help the little girls into the shallow end of the pool while Sol teaches them how to swim, demonstrating with her own mermaid tale. The coral, seafoam green, light blue, and lavender seem to be a trademark color for her, sparkling as she moves around the pool, dipping in and out of the water. The children are as captivated by Sol’s beauty as Duke and I are.

Sol

I sense them watching me. I haven’t looked over yet because if I continue to pretend that they’re not there, then I’ll be able to finish my show. Performing for children has been something I’ve done in secret for almost two years now.
