“Hmm?”

I repeated myself and he looked up to me, the shine of me on his lips both gorgeous and obscene. He smirked, making my stomach flip with desire. “I like that you’re worried about me. But if you’re worried because you think I don’t thoroughly enjoy having my mouth between your legs and my tongue in your cunt, I’m not doing nearly as good a job as I should be.”

While I stared at him, he shifted my legs farther apart. “We have this place to ourselves for as long as we want. I’m not in a hurry. And as much as I love the taste of your cum, that’s not my goal. All I want to do is make you feel good while I drown in this pussy.”

My head dropped back onto the couch, pure heat running through me like he’d dunked me in gasoline and lit a match. It was luxurious to relax and not think. Only feel. Watch the colors and the shifting creatures in the water and lose myself entirely.

I didn’t know how long it took. When I came, it rushed in like a breaking wave, my voice desperately echoing off the glass surrounding us, thighs shaking, every nerve spent from being overloaded with so much delicious attention.

And Jace wasn’t finished with me.

He lifted me off the couch and pushed me against the glass, wrapping my legs around his waist and pushing into me. I was so sensitive from his mouth, it pushed me over the edge again, the curve of him hitting exactly where I needed.

“Look at me, baby girl.”

Those hazel eyes were so close, the emotion in them so stark and vulnerable, I couldn’t breathe. His dark skin reflected the rich colors projected through the tanks, painting him like a picture I wanted to hang on our walls. Gorgeous. He took my breath away.

“I know what you were thinking earlier,” Jace whispered. “And I know it scares you. So I’ll say it first.”

We hung in the infinite moment, him buried deep inside me, surrounded by beauty.

“I love you,” he said quietly. “I know it feels too fast, and it’s so big it’s terrifying.”

I grinned. “It is big.”

He fought a smile, pulling out and thrusting back in purely to make me gasp. “Naughty Omega, stealing the moment.”

Jace spent long minutes making me pay for the interruption, fucking me with aching slowness, until I nearly begged for more.

“I love you,” he said again. “I’m not afraid of it. You’re mine, and I was meant to love you. I hope you knew without me having to say it, but I fully intend on loving you forever, Sloane Glass. No matter what.” Pressing his forehead to mine, he breathed me in. “You don’t have to say it, baby girl, if you’re not ready. But I wasn’t going to let another day go by without telling you. Because the words are on my lips every second, and you need to know that you’re it for me. You’re mine.”

There was no way to speak. Jace unleashed everything he’d been holding on to, driving deep and fucking hard, pushing me over the edge again, and another time after that before he came, filling me with all the heat he’d been dragging out of me.

We didn’t move. Didn’t breathe. Suspended in the middle of all that light. I managed to move my hands. Reach up to his face and make sure he didn’t look away. “I want to say it,” I breathed. “It’s so fast I feel like I shouldn’t, but god, I feel it. I love you.” My voice cracked. “Of course I do. I love you so fucking much.”

Jace smiled brighter than the glowing creatures around us, and kissed me. We didn’t move from that spot, and I let myself linger in the feeling of his lips on mine.

When we finally came back to ourselves, I felt like I was floating on a cloud. Jace carried me back to the couch and set me down gently, disappearing for a few minutes and coming back with supplies for us to clean up. I flushed, embarrassed at the idea. But I couldn’t exactly be embarrassed when we’d shared everything we had.

Jace liked taking care of me, and my Omega loved that he did. I lovedbeingtaken care of. I loved him.

“Are you hungry?” He asked.

“I could eat.”

He lifted me into his arms easily, carrying me back through the aquarium. It was a magical place to be by ourselves. “Let’s get some food then. We still have time before you’re allowed at home.”

“Surprises,” I sighed.

“I can’t say there will be no more surprises. But they’ll only be good ones, baby girl.”

“Promise?”

He grinned and held me tighter. “Yeah. I promise.”
