Mórrígan'sdrugged mind has a hard time comprehending that she is put into a small spaceship and taken up to the large mothership in the sky. Where she is brought into a large throne room, and in terror, I realize that the alien on the throne, even though I have never seen him before, is Behlial, Azazel's father.

Mórrígan is lined up with six other young women she doesn't know. Behlial explains from his throne that his seven sons will each choose a bride from the seven girls and that their responsibility will be to give birth to their sons.

There, among six other alien men, Mórrígan sees the man who rescued her, and with a searing certainty, I know that man, alien, is Azazel, despite him looking different and even though, there, his name is Lugh.

The slideshow speeds up again, and I watch the two fall madly in love with each other. I can feel Mórrígan's emotions, and they are hard to separate from mine, as my feelings for Azazel have grown with each hour we have spent together.

Lugh takes Mórrígan away, back to Earth, where the two of them live among the humans. They're guarded by several gargoyles, to warn them should his brothers arrive.

Mórrígan bears a son, but their happiness dies when five of Lugh's brothers come for him. Lugh is slain during a gruesome battle, and Mórrígan's son is taken from her to theAsphodel.

With a scream, I woke from the more than lifelike dream and pressed a fist against my rapidly beating heart. Chills raked my body as the last image I took with me from my dream was that of a crying Mórrígan holding Lugh's motionless body in her arms. Her grief, her anguish, was branded into me.

Shaking, I held myself, and the only reason I didn't rush out of the chamber in search of Azazel was because I had no clue where to look for him. I felt convinced he was as dead as Lugh, and the sorrow ripping at my heart at that idea was a pain I could hardly bear.

Thankfully, the door slid open not much later and Azazel strode in. When he saw my tear-streaked face as I cowered on the couch, he rushed to my side. "Fay, what happened?"

I stretched my arms up even before he reached me. I jumped into his embrace and clung to him with all the anguish I felt. "Azazel."

His hands caressed my face, my body. "Fay, are you hurt? What happened?"

I laugh-cried. "I'm alright now. It was a dream, Azazel. I had a terrible dream."

"A dream?" he asked, bewildered, probably unable to understand how such a thing could distress me when we were basically living a nightmare, and I hadn't broken down yet, not like this.

"I'm not sure it was only a dream," I added, confusing him more.

He sat us back down on the couch, where he snuggled me on his lap and deeper into his chest. "Explain."

I told him what I remembered of Mórrígan and Lugh's story while he carefully listened.

"It was so real, Azazel, as if I was there," I finished, watching him reach for his tablet.

"Let's find out." He tapped at the symbols that didn't mean anything to me and read a long text while his brow furrowed.

"What is it?"

"This is a record of our quests throughout history. During our eleventh journey, one of the seven sons was called Lugh and he…" Azazel turned to me, "took a bride named Mórrígan."

A chill ran through me, and I rubbed my arms. "I knew it."

I had felt it during mydream, and now my suspicion was backed by facts.

"Knew what?"

"That we have been lovers before, Azazel. A long time ago."

He pulled me closer and kissed my forehead. "We were meant to meet."

Something else nagged at me though. "Can you pull up Earth history with that too?" I pointed at his tablet.

"Like the holographic history I showed you yesterday?"

I shuddered. No, I had already watched Mórrígan and Lugh, I didn't need a real-life reenactment. I wanted to see something else and shook my head. "More like actual books?"

"Whatever is stored in the Adama computers was downloaded into our systems."

He handed me the tablet, but I pushed it back, not knowing how to use it yet. "Put our names in, the ones from my dream."
