Inside me.

So deep there’s no end.

My eyes trail down his muscular physique. Back to the eyes I know and love. Back to the face I can pick out of a crowd.

My heart is pounding, and my blood is hot like lava. There’s more of him. Details I haven’t been privy to. Private places that I only imagined mixing with mine, but I wasn’t allowed to touch or feel or taste.

That wasn’t allowed because we were friends.

Just friends.

But now we’re friends that like kissing each other.

His fingers trail a path over my cheek. His nose runs a line up my neck.

I moan, already trembling. Already desperate.

“I have to do something,” he whispers. His breath fans over my throat. Sends goosebumps skittering over my skin.

“No.” I reach for him when he backs away.

Just like I did last night when we kissed.

I want to follow him.

He’s a magnet and I’m a tiny square of steel.

I can’t resist.

He’s overpowering.

The very mechanisms of my being are drawn to him.

Kastle smirks.

And I die.

I freaking expire.

My heart leaves my body.

Because that grin is one I’ve never seen of Kastle before.

Not ever.

It’s new.

And wicked.

He takes sure steps to the door. I think he’ll leave and I’m about to cry out in disappointment, but he doesn’t. He turns the lock. Checks the knob. It holds firm.

“Why did you lock the door?” I whisper.

He returns to me. Slides his hands up my arms to my shoulders. Melts me with his dark eyes. “Because we’re going to do more than kissing.”

Eighteen

Kastle
