“one hundred and fifty,” I answer. “It was everything left to us from Leon's parents,” I add.

“Would you want to invest all of it into a house for all of us?” Logan asks. I look at him and shrug.

“I can’t see why not. It would be nice to put some of it into savings for Luna to cover university costs, and she is still on about the dance school, so that won't be cheap.”

“So if you put half in savings which we will start adding to, and make sure she has more than enough for when it’s needed, we could potentially pay Jason three hundred thousand up front.”

“And what about the rest? Surely he wants the money as soon as possible?” Logan asks. But Calvin looks to him and shakes his head.

“No, he wants us to be happy. It’s not like he needs the cash anyway, and he doesn’t need the property so he is offering us the house as like a loan. We agree on how much we can afford to pay back and he will sign the house over to us legally.”

“And what happens if there is an issue and we can’t make the payment?” Drew asks.

“Then we discuss it with him like adults, and he has already said that unless he thinks we are lying to him, then he is happy for us to pay what we can when we can. There will obviously be a section in the agreement that he can take it back if we don’t make reasonable payments, but I can't see why we couldn’t. Business is getting better and better each month, and with our savings and other investments, we can afford to own this place outright in ten years.

A silence fills the air around us as we all start thinking about it all. I look down at Luna, who is happily singing to herself whilst running around. I look back at the house and can see us living here happily.

“It’s certainly big enough for us all,” Logan says quietly from his place on the bench.

“Are we seriously considering this?” Drew starts. “I mean, I’m all up for it as it’s everything we could wish for in a home. It’s close enough for Luna to stay in her school, so it won’t take her away from her friends. It’s close enough to both our works, and there is plenty of space in the house and around it.”

All three guys look at me as I chew on my fingernails. Logan stands in front of me and pulls my finger from my mouth.

“What's holding you back?” he asks, running his knuckles down my cheeks. I open my mouth to answer nothing, but he gives me that cocked brow, and I know I need to be honest.

“What happens if you three decide you don’t want to be with us? Or if one of you meets someone else?” I sigh. I look over at Luna, who is sitting on the grass picking daisies. “I know this works for the O’Reilly’s, but Christian is marrying Jasmine to make her an O’Reilly so they will all share a surname. We can never do that.” I look at each of the guys. “I could never marry just one of you, and me and Luna could never take one of your surnames and not the others. It’s not like we could have a barrel name.” I take a deep sigh as I look at all three of my men individually. “It’s something that scares me. Like where would we all fit in legally? If one or all of you leave us, will we even be able to get another house?”

“This has been playing on your mind for a while, hasn’t it?” Drew asks as he comes to stand with the rest of us. I nod and go to chew on my fingernail again.

“What if I said we have all been thinking and talking about it as well?” Calvin says, smiling at me.

“You have?”

All three guys nod and smile at me. Logan takes my hand in his and lifts it to his mouth.

“We discussed the same things the day we decided to approach this relationship with you. All were all worried about how we would feel if one of us married you, or if you took one of our names. We decided that there was only one acceptable option. That we would take your name.”

“What?” I feel my eyes bulge as my jaw drops. The guys chuckle as they all share a look.

“Hughes is your maiden. It’s the name you chose to go by when you were feeling your most vulnerable because it made you feel safe. So, why would we ask you to change that?” Drew offers, taking the hand Logan isn’t holding. Calvin wraps his arms around my waist again from behind, holding me against him.

“We figured this isn’t the most traditional relationship, so why stick to traditional rules? What's stopping us from taking your name? absolutely nothing. As for legally, well, not that I think we will ever need to worry about it, but we all agreed that everything would be split between the four of us equally.”

I look over my shoulder at Calvin as my eyes start to burn. He leans in and presses a kiss to my lips.

“We love you both Darling, you know we do. There is absolutely nothing we would not do for you both. So what do you say? Do you want to buy this huge house with us?”

I look between them all, unable to stop the smile that spread across my face before smiling.

“When can we move in?”

Epilogue

“You do realise it doesn’t matter how you organise this place. She will just move everything again.”

I turn around and see Logan and Drew standing behind me. I look at the kitchen cupboards and frown.

“What’s wrong with the way I’m organising them? It all makes perfect sense having the plates and bowls there.”
