I shouldn’t be self-conscious in front of Gabe and Darwin. They’ve both seen me a lot worse than sweating—because I’m not one of those girls thatglows—and grunting as I block Charlie’s punches, elbows, knees, and kicks. But having two unfairly hot boys standing ringside, following me with their eyes, is a mad distraction.

Charlie finally uses it to his advantage and rings my bell, slipping a jab through my elbow block and glancing off my cheek. He pulls his punch, but even so, I stagger back, dropping my guard.

Charlie straightens up and smacks his gloves together. “I’d never have been able to tag you if you weren’t glancing over at them every two seconds.”

I hold up my gloves. “You’re right, Chaz. I’m sorry.”

“I was gonna suggest we go to the practice dome after this, but I don’t want to burn your face off because you’re making googly eyes.”

I hide my face behind my gloves in embarrassment.

“It’s important Teddy be able to fight without distraction,” Darwin says, hooking his hands over the top rope and hanging from it so his pecs and biceps bulge under his cashmere sweater.

“You twoarethe distraction,” I complain.

“Who, us?” Gabe asks, leaning over to look at Darwin’s flex while innocently hooking a thumb under his sweatshirt and rucking it up to display his abs.

I throw my water bottle at him.

Chuckling, Gabe catches it and pours out a trickle onto his stomach, then twirls his fingers, making the stream of water dance over each ridge of his six-pack.

“Impressive,” Charlie snarks.

Gabe waves his fingers and the water droplets shoot through the air to smack Charlie in the face. Growling, Charlie shakes it off.

“Are we giving up on today, then?”

“No,” I say firmly. “I’ll focus, I promise. I didn’t spar at all while I was in the future. I’ve lost muscle tone. C’mon, Chaz, let’s do it.”

Charlie nods and smacks his gloves together. I get my guard up and we go at it again, working through combinations and then freestyling, until we’re both sweaty and my arms are shaking.

Darwin and Gabe behave themselves until I plonk down at the edge of the ring, letting my legs dangle over the edge. Then I get a boy pressing in on either side. Gabe runs his hands up my bare legs and my skin dries like he’s rubbed a towel over me. Darwin leans in for a kiss and flushes me with his energy.

“Better than a Red Bull,” I say when Darwin pulls back.

He grins. “Did I really distract you?”

I brush his nose with my glove, no harder than a tap, which makes his grin widen. “Yeah, mate.”

He props himself against the ring like he’s doing a push-up. With the predictable pec results. I roll my eyes at him.

“Immersion therapy,” he says as Charlie slides in behind me, his sweaty legs on either side of mine. Gabe does his Water-mage trick on Charlie’s hairy thighs. Gabe’s hands linger even after Charlie’s skin is no longer glistening.

“Immersion therapy?” I ask.

“Um-huh. Can’t have you distracted at a critical moment. You need to be inured to Gabe and me by repeat exposure.”

I shake my head. Repeat exposure to my lads just makes me want them more. Particularly when they’re withholding sex. Well, when one of them is withholding sex. Or is more than one of them withholding sex? Charlie’s been demanding shower head pretty much every morning since I got back, but he didn’t this morning. Are they freaking conspiring against me?

“Why haven’t we shagged?” I demand.

Darwin blinks at me. “Uh, what?”

Gabe and Charlie start chuckling. Which tells me Charlie’s in on it. Fucking boys.

“Are you part of the No D for Teddy Society, too?” I ask, punching Darwin lightly in the chest.

“There’s a No D for Teddy Society?” Darwin asks Gabe and Charlie. “Do we have T-shirts?”
