"Someone might hear," she moans softly.

"Then I suggest you be a good girl and stay quiet," I purr as I slide her panties down her legs and start tasting her like a starved man.

CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

NATHANIEL

Bella is making herself a drink, wearing nothing but my T-shirt, which barely covers her thighs. I wrap her in a blanket I nabbed from the back of the sofa before throwing her over my shoulder and marching back to the room with her.

"What are you doing?" She giggles as she kicks her legs like a child throwing a tantrum. "Put me down, caveman! I have legs." She continues laughing as she uses her own hand to repeatedly smack my butt.

When we reach the room, I give her a slap on the butt before laying her on the bed.

"What was that all about?" she asks, confused, but she’s still smiling.

"I don't care if they're all my friends here; no one can see you naked but me," I state, not even caring how possessive I sound.

"I'm not naked, silly. I'm in pajamas," she clarifies as she tugs at her t-shirt like she's trying to prove something.

"You're wearing a t-shirt and no pants, so you're still too naked." I make my point, "This..." I demand, as I move closer and spread her legs with my knee, "...is for my eyes only!"

"Yes sir!" she scoffs, but man, how I love it when she calls me that. The words seem to go straight to my dick, and it takes all my energy to focus instead of bending her over the bed and making sure she knows she’s mine and mine alone.

I quickly shake off the dirty thoughts because otherwise we'll never make it out of this room, and hand her a pair of sweatpants to put on.

"Chill, I'm going to get dressed anyway," she giggles as she drops the sweatpants, rummaging through the closet for everything she needs.

I go back downstairs and find that a few of the group are already there, having breakfast or coffee in the garden. I'm a little disappointed when I realize that Gabe hasn't come to surprise me during the night. Secretly, I was hoping he'd be here when I woke up.

Although a few minutes later, I get a text from him.

Gabe:Happy birthday, little brother. I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your friends. You deserve it. Love always, Gabriel.

I can’t help but smile, knowing he remembered, but the sadness soon creeps in that he’s not here, so I quickly reply, hoping he’s on his way.

Me:It would mean more to me if you were here too, bro. You're the only real family I have, so I wish you were here to celebrate with me.

I wait for a response, which doesn't come. So I pour myself a coffee to distract myself and go outside to join Tucker, Ava, and Harper. "Did you guys sleep well?" I ask politely.

"Yeah, I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow." Harper sighs.

"Same here," Ava agrees as she sips her coffee. A smirk appears on her face, and she gives Tucker a sideways glance. I decide not to question it though, you never know with the two of them.

"So, what are your plans for today?" asks Tucker.

"Well, I thought it would be nice to explore the area a bit and enjoy the scenery," Bella suggests, throwing her arms around my neck from behind and pressing a kiss to my cheek.

"That seems like a YOU thing to do." Ava laughs. "I think Tucker and I will stay here and try out the hot tub."

"Sorry, man, getting hot and sweaty hiking or getting hot and sweaty with my girl—it's no contest." Tucker grins cheekily.

"Is everyone else still asleep?" I ask.

"Yeah, Riley's part vampire, so she won't be awake for hours," Harper informs us with a shrug.

"Cool, I'll just change quickly, and then we'll go," I say as I stand up and Bella takes a sip of my coffee. "Can you let Danny and the others know when they wake up?" I add, turning to Tucker.

"Sure man."
