“I want to feel you, Daddy… all of you inside me…”

“Soon enough, baby girl. I’m big, and you need to work up to me,” Titan rumbles in my ears. “And I told you not to move. Don’t make me tell you again.”

I sob as his tail pushes into me. He is thicker than I expect, and I gasp as he seems to swell, shifting his girth to fill me. The gently rounded ridges press into my tight inner walls, giving me the oddly satisfying sensation of feeling all of myself, inside and out, at once. I nearly tremble with the desire to move, but he told me not to, so I won’t.

The command to remain still is a sort of release, permission to not perform, to not give, to only receive. I fight against it, but Titan made me let out these feelings, and I can’t get them back in so quickly. I’ll have to ride out the storm, immobile and accepting of every wave of pleasure he gives me.

Titan’s tail thrusts in and out, the ridges hitting my G-spot again and again. He moves faster, working my cunt, filling me, taking all of me. I scream because I want more, because it’s too much, because I want to move, because it’s so good to be still.

It is freeing and terrifying. My body fights against the foreign sensation. Titan is relentless. His tail pounds into me, forcing me to submit and let go.

I sob and shake in his arms, my orgasm coming suddenly and fiercely.

“Look at me,” he growls out harshly, repeating himself at a near roar. “Look at me, baby girl.”

His marble eyes are black and hot, reflecting my release back at me. The anger and relief shine in my eyes too: anger for everything I’ve had to deal with the last ten years, relief that someone is angry for me.

ChapterEight

JULES

I’m groggy, still sated and drained from last night on the roof, when I feel Titan shift next to me. He sits on the edge of the bed, his weight creating a deep divot in the mattress, rolling me towards the center. My body doesn’t quite meet the wings he holds tight to his broad back, but I’m now resting in the pool of his body heat.

“I need to go over the plan for this evening with my brothers,” he says as he stands and ties his leather loincloth low around his hips.

His back is to me. His voice is calm and kind, but there is a distance. If I had been the one to create that space, it would’ve been fine. However, Titan is the one leaving me in the rapidly cooling bed, and my body feels raw. I try to shake it off.

Last night, I’d shared more of myself with Titan than I had with any of my past arrangements. He has the terrible ability to make me feel safe, and my thoughts and feelings can’t help but spill out when he holds me close. But now that his body is no longer on mine, embarrassment creeps in.

“Maybe I can help.” I sit up in the bed, facing him with a determined smile. He is so beautiful in the cool early morning light that I have to fight the urge not to reach up and stroke the curve of his horns. “I can do more than just be your date tonight. I can do more than make sure you blend in and don’t make a horrible faux pas that gets you exiled from all of Hollywood, you know?”

He moves from the bed, turning back and looking down at me.

“You just rest up, baby girl.” He presses a kiss to my forehead.

My eyes close, and my hands reach out to the wall of his stomach for balance. The kiss is far too short, and the cold air rushes in, forcing me to hug the bed sheet to my body the moment he lets me go.

I want to press for more information. I know there is much I can’t yet understand, like Titan’s Pull or what the Relic Room means to his brothers and the coven helping them, but just like our first night together when I’d believed I was at his penthouse to meet with an interested sugar daddy, I feel like there is something he isn’t telling me.

“I will be meeting with the coven after I talk to Stiel, so I will see you when we leave for the wrap party tonight. Eden is picking up breakfast for you both now, and she will get you whatever else you need for tonight.”

With that, Titan steps out of my grip and turns his back to me, heading into the hallway. I’ve been dismissed.

“Name?” the woman standing at the front entrance of the steel and glass of Freddy’s building asks.

She’s dressed in a tight black dress, with an earpiece tucked behind her ear. She has a disinterested look on her pretty face as she taps impatiently with her pen at the guest list in front of her.

“Titan,” I answer, smoothing out the fitted silver dress over my hips.

“Last name?” Her bored dark brown eyes slide from her clipboard to look far over my shoulder.

Titan is with Rook by the black SUV his brother drove us in, doing what he’s been doing all day—talking with anyone who isn’t me. He was true to his word his morning. I didn’t see him until minutes before we left for the wrap party in LA’s Arts District.

Both gargoyles are in their human forms now. Rook is only slightly smaller than Titan, with lighter brown hair and pale gray eyes that occasionally dart my way. When he looks at me, I have the distinct sensation that I’m the topic of their whispered conversation.

I swallow hard and turn back to the woman.
