“Yes, baby girl.”

And I pound harder, letting the walls of the cave shake and the rocks at our feet rattle.

It isn’t the pain that drives me—Julianna is far more likely to hurt herself than me, and I won’t let that happen—but the knowledge that I will get to keep a piece of her past tonight. I cannot keep her and protect her like I want, stowing her away in my penthouse to keep safe forever. And so this is what I get, a week and tonight, and I will take it all.

“Oh god… oh god,” she screams as I pick up speed. “Fuck, Daddy.”

“Let it go.”

“I… I want to.” Her head thrashes back and forth, hair whipping over her face.

“You can handle it,” I rumble through tensed, gritted teeth and impale her fully on my cock and tail and hold her tight to me. “Let it go for me, baby girl.”

And she does. Julianna shakes and tenses beneath me, her orgasm tearing through her with violent spasms. She is flushed and wanton and so eager to please her Daddy. The sight of her coming on my command sets me off, and I release all the built-up tension with a roar as her tight pussy milks everything from me. I claw at the ground and tear at the boulder, pulling chunks of rock from it.

I feel myself fill her almost instantly, and I pull out. Ropes of white hot cum shoot over her pussy and stomach. I fist myself, jerking hard and fast as I wring every last drop from my cock and mark her across her chest and thighs.

I should clean her up, and I will, but I’ve never seen Julianna as beautiful as she is now, naked and panting, completely undone by an orgasm I gave her, marked by my release.

We lay for some time on the stone slab before I move us to one of the cots. I carefully clean Julianna with a damp towel before laying her down. She is asleep on my chest in seconds, my wings acting as a blanket, wrapping around her. I’m exhausted. I should sleep, or at least close my eyes for a few minutes, but I want to watch her.

The permanent worried crease between her brows is relaxed and smooth. Her hand grips one of my fingers. Unconsciously she strokes her thumb up and down my claw, seeming to find security in it. Her honey-brown hair spills over my chest and arms as she lightly snores against me.

I smile, knowing she’d be horrified to learn she was snoring. It wouldn’t fit her siren persona. Worse, it would prove that she was vulnerable around me, and my precious little thief would never allow that.

I run the tips of my claws through her hair and cup the back of her head closer to my chest. She snuggles in deeper in her sleep, and I angle to kiss the top of her head. I breathe in her scent, the sweetness of her shampoo and the salt of sweat. She took me so well, and I let myself sink into the memory of her writhing beneath me as I stretched both her holes. I feel my cock twitch and swell. It’s almost enough to keep thoughts of Freddy’s wrap party out of my head.

The wires just got crossed,I tell myself. It was a moment of confusion, that’s it.

It’s been centuries since I’d been that close to the Keystone, and my body, which is so primed to react to it, had been overwhelmed with the sensation. It isn’t all that bizarre that when Harris needed to be taught a lesson, the Pull had chosen that moment to release its energy. It just released it in the wrong direction.

“Titan,” Dredd’s voice booms from the mouth of the cave.

I jerk in the cot, turning to see him stride towards me. It takes him a moment to register that I have Julianna hidden beneath my wings, but when he does, he lets out a snarl.

“She’s still with you.” He drops the volume of his voice, but not enough for me to think he actually cares about waking her up.

My stomach tenses, and I raise myself up to sit, still holding her to me with my wings. I feel her body shift against mine as she lets out a contented sigh.

“Yes,” I whisper back. I just wanted a moment longer with Julianna without the world rushing in, and frustration harshens my words. “I assume you have something to report. Were you able to find the Strange who was outside the party?”

I can tell he wants to fight back, but he bows to my leadership and answers.

“We were able to follow him for a while. Knox had a pretty good tail on him, but he lost him somewhere in the Valley.”

“Knox lost him?” I frown. Knox has always been our best tracker and fastest flyer. I rack my brain, trying to think of what kind of creature could escape him. It certainly wasn’t one of the witches since they’d have no reason to run from us and certainly couldn’t fly faster than us even with their spells and potions. “What the hell kind of Strange are they?”

Dredd paces the entrance of the cave, his wings dragging their tips on the ground. In the dim candlelight, the divots in his stone flesh and the holes that pockmark his left wing are highlighted. They’re a constant reminder to Dredd that when the fortress fell, he was the one on duty and the one who got the worst of that day’s injuries. They don’t prevent him from flying, but they do slow him down.

He looks at me, the permanent scowl on his face twisting with uncertainty.

“Were you not able to get close enough to sense their magic?” I ask. “We will call on the coven to—”

“No,” he says swiftly. “We know what it was. I just don’t know how it exists.”

My head jerks back with a frown, and I narrow my eyes at my brother, urging him on.
