Everly, on the other hand, relaxes against my side with a sigh.Thank you. My loves. My demons.

You’re ours and you’re home, as we promised.

We wouldn’t have made the promise if we had to send him out again to find another. If he knows anyone he thinks would be a good match and wants to invite them to come to the club, that’s another story, but he never has to spend another night away from us, and he never has to actually leave if he doesn’t want to.

Razor finally slinks away, not even threatening to take it to Beelzebub—he knows very well that rule doesn’t apply because Everly has two of us.

Everly beams at Zoro. My hero.

Zoro gives Everly a nod.I have your back, baby boy.No one messes with you.

I bring Everly to a love seat that has room enough for all three of us, but no more, and Zoro joins us, our boy between us.

“What do you desire—any food you want, just name it.”

“Mmm… a steak? Please?” Everly’s belly rumbles.

“Three wagu steaks with the big fries, and a salad.” I wink as I add the last bit. I know that the kitchen would have heard me and our food would be arriving shortly. “It won’t be long.”

“Is your friend here?” Zoro asks. “The one who brought you to us?”

That long braid swings as Everly looks around, then he nods. “There’s Steve.”

I wave at Steve and his Master Kalos. It’s because of them that we have our boy with us.

Steve grins and waves back. Kalos simply laughs, and they stand and come over. “My friends, your happiness is like a rainbow glowing around you.”

“We’re overjoyed.” Zoro chuckles as Steve and Everly embrace.

“I’m glad Steve found you the perfect match.”

“We are too.” I give Steve a wink. “Oh, here’s our food. Will you eat with us?”

“Absolutely. Our boys can realize they’re brothers now, as it should be.”

“Indeed.”

Everly looks at me, an eyebrow quirked. “Brothers?”

“Bonded by your love of demons—specifically of us.”

Steve nods. “Yes. Brothers. Friends.”

Everly smiles. “I can live with that.”

“It’s good to have friends here. I know you think you only need Zoro and me, but we can’t make love twenty-four-seven. Though we might certainly give it a try now and then.”

“Who says we can’t?” Zoro asks.

Everly lifts one hand. “My ass will break.”

Zoro and I laugh, and Kalos’s chuckles join us.

Steve shrugs. “I’m with you, man. Though it’d be fun to prove it. Until the whole broken ass thing, that is.”

“Exactly. No breaking me.”

I put my arm around Everly and tug him in close. “No, baby boy. No breaking you.”
