I sniffle, my body giving up, falling over Vi’s, letting go.

Immediately, Rhys withdraws and covers my back with his cum, his growl almost pained.

He stopped himself from coming until I did first. Holy shit. What sort of man does that?

He’s set a new standard, and honestly? I doubt anyone can meet it. Not even Marius Goltz.

I know what good sex is now. I’ll settle for nothing else.

SARAH

Isleep like a baby. In fact, I oversleep, which is rare, even on a Saturday. I’m working the afternoon shift at the pet store, so it’s no big deal, but I’m still shocked to see it’s eleven when I finally emerge.

I would have considered the possibility that last night might just have been a very dirty dream if my body didn’t ache in the most satisfying way. Holy shit. I fucked Rhys. And Violet. I definitely fucked her too.

My entire face is on fire as I make my way downstairs, hearing distinctive voices. Part of me just wants to run away, get back upstairs, hide under the covers until the house is silent again, but I am ravenous. Besides, what was it that Rhys said last night? If anything’s weird, it’ll be on your end.He was right, and I refuse to be that person. They offered casual sex, I said yes. I'm not going to make it a bigger deal than it was.

I reach the open-plan living space, where all my roommates are seated around the breakfast bar, a full spread in front of them.

"Hey!" Violet grins, perky as usual. "We left you some bacon. I had to guard it from Rhys, this time."

Her husband grins, semi-apologetic. "Louis wanted it."

My stomach gurgles appreciatively. "Thank you. It all smells amazing. Though I feel bad Louis couldn't have extra bacon."

"He stole mine," Rom grumbles, shaking his head. "I can't believe the cat's the one begging at the table. My Blue knows better."

The pup lifts her head hopefully, quietly waiting for brunch to end from her plush bed. He doesn't let her beg, but he does give her leftovers after dinner when there are doggy-appropriate ones.

I take the seat reserved for me next to Roman; my plate is empty except for three slices of bacon. There's a bit of everything left on various dishes, and I help myself greedily.

"Yesterday looked like fun," Roman says between mouthfuls of pancakes. "Text me next time."

My jaw falls open. So much for playing it casual. He knows what we were up to? Have Violet and Rhys chatted about it all morning?

Before I can say a word, he tells me, "I came back home around four when you guys were all going at it. Trust me, I would have headed back sooner if I'd known what I was missing."

"You could have joined in," Violet retorts. "The lounge is free for all, you know that."

Roman shrugs. "I didn't want to freak Sarah out by coming in out of the blue."

That was considerate, but honestly, I don't think I would have so much as raised an eyebrow if he arrived after Violet joined in. By that point, I was up for literally anything.

"Next time," she replies smoothly.

I stare at my plate.

Next time? They want all that to happen again? My insides tingle in response, although for some reason, amidst the memory of the bliss, I feel…something else. Something more negative.

Guilt?

"Yeah, I think I'm past freaking out," I say, before attacking breakfast. "Thanks for all that. I'll cook tonight."

"Youreallydon't have to," Rhys tells me. "You're working until late today, right?"

I nod. "One to nine. I guess it is a little too late for me to make dinner. But I'll definitely cook tomorrow."
