Page 39 of His Fatal Love

I chuckle, still circling, getting a little closer. “I have no doubt about that,” I say, finally standing close behind him. “But I didn’t come here to fight. I came here to fuck.” I whisper in his ear, letting my tongue flick out to strike his lobe softly, “Of course, between us, I’m not sure there’s much difference.”

I press up against his back, my hands coming to rest on his hips as I grind myself against him.

“You have to do what I say,” I murmur, my breath hot against his neck. “I paid for the room. For your time. Right?”

“I’m not your little bitch, Castellani. You don’t tell me what to do.”

“Oh, but I do.” My teeth graze his skin now. “I know what you want and I’m going to use it against you.”

It’s a fair warning. And he shivers at my words, the desire still evident in his body language as he sways back against me. I move my hand down to his crotch, feeling that gorgeous, thick cock through his leathers. He may not like the situation, but he’s still hard as a rock at the thought of me playing him.

He grabs my wrist and spins around to face me. “What the hell do you want from me, Castellani?”

“I want to play a game.”

“A game?”

“A game. In which there will be a winner and a loser, and I know which one I’ll be.”

“Yeah,” he says, a smirk pulling at his lips. “I know which one you’ll be, too. What’s the game?”

“The game isfucking, sweet Romeo. Because fucking really is just like fighting, don’t you think? Someone always comes out on top. And when I win, I want a meeting with your father. I know you can arrange one. Assuage his fears. You can even be there with me to ensure his safety. But I want to talk to him, face to face. I have a few questions for him.”

Leo snorts. “Deal. Because I’m going to win. What do I get when I do?”

“What would you like?”

I wonder if he’ll be foolish enough to match me. To ask for a meeting with Don Castellani. But when he speaks next, he surprises me yet again.

“I want you,” he says, his voice low and dangerous. “You can be mine.”

My eyebrows shoot up. “Me?”

“I want my own little pet assassin to send out and take care of business for me, and no bitching about it, or going off-mission.”

I force a laugh. “So you don’t really want me. You just want my skills.” I move away to the side, and, in a fit of pique, take the time to remove my cock cage. Leo doesn’t deserve this tonight.

When I turn back, his eyes travel over me, head to foot, and back again. “I wantyou, Julian. You are…unique. And I’d like to know I can call in a favor from you when I need it.”

I want to spit in his face, but I remember my mission and shrug instead. “One favor.”

“Meeting my father is worth many favors.”

“One fuck equals one favor,” I correct him. “I’ll kill whomever you like. But only one. Are we clear?”

I don’t like the smile he gives me. “We’re clear.” He pauses. “Listen. Before we start...”

“What is it?”

“Did you kill Vinnie Esposito?”

I’m almost insulted. “You think I’d waste my time killing Vincenzo when I could have been fucking him instead? Not that he had anything onyou,” I add, almost surprising myself. But flattery is never a bad strategy.

“Nothing on me,” he repeats with a chuckle. “Well, it sure looked like your work,” he goes on. “You think there’s a reason for that?”

I’mdefinitelyinsulted now. “Do you really think that sloppy bloodwork came frommyhand?”

He stares into my eyes for a long time. I don’t blink.
