“Yes, we’re protected, now take me.” The moment my words leave my lips, I feel him in the most delicious way.

Our bodies join as he pushes inside me, hard. Just like I begged him to. I want to feel him right to the center of my core.

“Fuck, Nat,” he groans in my ear as he starts pounding into me. “Feel… so… fucking… right.” I can’t even talk as the sounds he’s dragging out of me don’t sound in any way like words. All I can do is hold on for the ride, my arms now tucked up under his armpits and hanging on to his shoulders. I brand him with my fingernails and make sure he knows this is what I’ve been dreaming about too.

“Can’t hold on much longer…”

And my body peaks at the same time as his plea, sending the fireworks through every single nerve in my body. “Yes, Jordan!” I scream as the same time he yells, his whole body stiffening. He pumps through his release inside me. My body arches up toward him, with him buried as deep as he can inside me.

As the final pulses of both our orgasms wane, Jordan rolls onto his back and takes me with him. “I don’t want to squash you. And there is every chance I’m about to pass out with what you just did to me.”

My whole body starts to shake as I burst out laughing. “And you call yourself a professional athlete. Where is your stamina, big guy?”

“When I return from my state of euphoria, I will show you my stamina, little lady. Be careful what you wish for!”

“I’m more than wishing. The expectations are high, mister.”

“After this nap then I’ll be happy to show you.” Jordan’s body all sated and relaxed, I start snuggling and molding my body into his. If this is what life with Jordan is like, then I’m already a fan. Although I might not be able to walk tomorrow, it will be worth it.

His breathing starts to even out a little, and I can feel my eyelids getting heavier. Neither of us have been sleeping since I got here, and it’s time to just take a moment in this heavenly feeling and relish the love. Never again will I push that away. Not in a million years.

As I’m drifting off to sleep, all I hear is his voice in a whisper.

“Just forever this time.” He gently kisses the top of my head and my heart swells.

“Mine forever,” I whisper into his chest.

“I always was.”

* * *

It’s been two weeks since Sasha and Dani returned from Italy. Lots of late-night talking and meetings, but we know what we want, and no one has ever wavered from that.

“Are you ready to do this?” I ask, looking at Sasha and Dani standing in front of me in the back room of the stadium media center. We’re waiting for Jordan to join us. He’s upstairs briefing his and Sasha’s new publicist and the team’s media personnel.

The reaction we got from both of their old publicists and company was atrocious and showed their true colors. All along, all they cared about was the money they made off Jordan and Sasha. They never cared about them as people. It didn’t take long for us to find the right fit in Kenzie McLaughlin from McLaughlin & Co. Publicists. You know exactly where you stand with them, and she is honest to the point of being blunt. But in this world of media, that’s what you need.

“No, I’m not ready, but I don’t think that will ever change. This is something that I should have done years ago,” Sasha answers me, and seeing her squeeze Dani’s hand, I know their connection is unbreakable.

“You know that Jordan and I have your back, no matter what happens today. We all know our truth, and that’s all that we need to worry about.”

“I can’t believe how understanding you’ve been. I can see why Jordan wouldn’t settle for anyone else. Your heart is pure gold, and no one would ever come close to that. We can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done.”

I feel my cheeks heat up a bit; I don’t think I’ll ever get any better at accepting compliments.

“Hey, I need to thank you,” I tell her. “If you hadn’t kept him safe waiting for me, I could have really lost the love of my life. So, we’re even.”

Hugging both of them, I hear the sound of the door opening behind me.

“Christ, don’t let the media see that,” Kenzie says. “I might be the best publicist, but that’s pushing my talents.” We all start laughing as I feel Jordan’s hand on my lower back. It’s become the normal for him. Whenever he’s near me when we’re in public, he can’t do much, but that subtle touch lets me know he’s there.

There’s a knock on the door and Kenzie’s assistant pokes her head through the gap. “We’re ready.”

I feel my stomach drop, and it’s like we all break out into a sweat simultaneously.

Jordan takes control and I can see the moment that professional sportsman kicks in.

“Let’s go and rock this place, ladies. Drop our bombshell then leave them all standing there wondering what the hell just happened.”
