I rounded on Hunter the moment we stepped back into my room. I slammed my hands into his chest and shoved him back a step.
"What the fuck was that?"
He looked down at me for a moment with surprise that quickly passed. His expression turned to one of feigned innocence.
"What was what?" He grabbed my wrists and pushed me backwards into my room.
"You know what." I tugged my wrists free and stomped away from him. I whirled back around and glared. "You put that card there. You knew I'd get it. You were the one who chose Posey to go first. You set me up. You wanted me to fuck Slade."
"You didn't seem to mind." Parker closed the door behind us, but stayed at a safe distance from me.
"You were in on it?" I demanded. I wanted to grab the backs of their heads and bang them together, but at the same time I was angry with myself. I got caught up in the moment and now I was worried about the repercussions. Not to mention the reasons why Hunter put me in Slade's path.
"Since when do you share?" I turned my gaze back to Hunter. He was the one who ran the game. If anyone was responsible for this, it started with him, even if it finished with me. Or finished with Slade inside me.
"We've been sharing since we met you." Hunter grinned as though somehow all of this was funny. When I didn't smile, his faded. "Okay, let's all calm down." He gestured downward with his hands.
"I don't want to calm down," I snapped. "I want to know what the fuck happened."
Hunter sighed and flopped down into the end of the bed. "Chloe had an advantage. Dane DiMarco. Not just his contacts, but his influence."
"Because he's a teacher here?" I already knew how much of that he had. Dane could fail students if he wanted to, or potentially influence his peers to do the same. If I failed any of my classes, that was near enough to an automatic loss against my sister. Now I thought about it, I'd be surprised if he hadn't tried to do that already. Any chance I had of becoming head of the family someday… I could more or less kiss it goodbye.
"Exactly." Hunter leaned back on his hands. "I wanted to introduce you to Slade. You need him in your corner. That card was designed to put all of his attention on you. Which it did. Now he's had one taste of you, he's going to want more. You and your pussy are addictive."
"For the record, it was Hunter's idea," Parker said. He leaned against the door, his arms crossed.
"Thanks, Park," Hunter said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes at his brother, then turned back to me. "I didn't necessarilyexpectyou to fuck Slade, but I'm glad you did. Watching you with him was hot as hell."
"Did he know about any of this?" I asked. The idea they might have invited Slade along for the sole purpose of fucking me, made me even angrier.
"Absolutely not," Hunter said immediately. "Like I said, it was meant to be an introduction. Whatever came of it, came of it. I thought you might take a drink, but then you were into the idea, and Parker and I didn't mind." He grabbed my hand and pulled me down to the bed beside him.
"Having a guy like Slade around will give you an advantage over Chloe. With two teachers involved, you'd be on equal footing. With Parker and I, you're miles ahead. Between the four of us, we'll make it so your father has no choice but to choose you."
"What happened to taking people out for coffee?" I asked. "Or lunch. Hell, a nice picnic would have worked too."
"We could have done that, but that would have taken time," Hunter said. "This way, you have us all where you need us."
"You meanyouhave us where you need us," I corrected. "You seem to think you're the one calling all the shots."
He grinned. "Babe, the only thing I'm calling is that your father will choose you. Everything else is a small cog in that wheel. You could have taken a shot and then I would have figured out something else to make sure you had Slade's attention."
"She had his attention the moment he laid eyes on her," Parker said. "Did you see the way he had her naked with his eyes? He was all in like a fish taking the bait. All we had to do was reel him in, and Lila did that with her perfect pussy. The guy never stood a chance."
"Do either of us have a choice in this?" I asked dryly.
"You always have a choice," Hunter said coolly. "No matter what that choice is, we support it. All we want is what's best for you. Now you're on Slade's radar, you'll be able to get him to do all sorts of things. I have a few things in mind myself. I'm not saying you have to have a relationship with the guy, but if you want to, that's fine with us. As long as you don't dump us for him."
I shook my head slowly. My thoughts were tumbling around in my brain.
"You don't mind if I have a third boyfriend?" I asked. "It won't bother you if I fuck him when you're not around?"
"As long as you're not sneaking around, we don't mind," Parker said. "If everyone knows what's going on, where's the harm?"
"Right," I said vaguely. I barely knew Slade. The attraction was undeniable, but fucking someone and dating them were two different things. We might have an actual conversation and realise we hated each other. What would happen then? He wouldn't help me the way Hunter suggested he could.
