"Which one can I kill first?" Zachary sounded excited for the possibility.
"Neither one for now," Chloe said. "While they're alive, we can use them as leverage. Once they've outdone their usefulness, I'll decide. Or better yet, we could get them to kill each other."
Zachary laughed. "That would be good for shits and giggles."
I was going to send both of them to hell. As slowly and painfully as possible. I'd start by cutting off their toes, and gradually work my way up, avoiding vital organs and too much bleeding as I went. Just for fun, I might even carve my initials into their foreheads. And then, into their bones. If Parker was lucky, I'd let him join in too.
Parker grunted softly in annoyance. Only loud enough for me to hear. He obviously realised it was better they didn't know we were awake and listening.
"And Lila?" Zachary asked. "Are you going to kill her too?"
He was obviously very much her minion, just like Lila suspected he was. They must have planted that second teddy bear and timed it to look like Zachary went after Chloe.
That was fucked up bullshit. Chloe wanted Lila to trust her and she had; enough to let her guard down. Enough to send us to make friends with Zachary. If the taste in my mouth was any indication, he'd spiked our drinks with something nasty but nonlethal.
No, I'd watched him carefully, keeping my drink to myself. Parker had bought the first round and I'd bought the second. Zachary hadn't gone near my drink. It was the asshole behind the bar, working with Zachary and Chloe.
He was going to hell with them.
"I don't see any reason we can't continue with our original plan," Chloe said. "Things will be so much easier with Dad if she tells him she's dropping out of the running. He'll accept her quitting better than he'll accept me killing her. He always had a soft spot for her." She sounded bitter.
"He thinks she's as ruthless as he is, and you're not," Zachary said. "But she doesn't know you as well as I do." A slight slap of skin hitting the wall was followed by the wet sound of them kissing.
Did Dane know Chloe and Zachary were involved? More than involved, if their already rapid breathing was an indication.
A zipper slid undone, fabric rustled. She sighed low, from the back of her throat.
"Fuck, you always feel so good," Zachary moaned. "So. Fucking. Good." He was obviously thrusting with each word.
How long had they been fucking each other? I guessed it was a while.
"I'm so glad you transferred here." Chloe's voice was breathless. "I missed you."
"You missed my cock," he growled. "You missed being my whore. Didn't you?Didn't you?"
"Yes," she moaned. "Yes, I missed being your whore. Mmmm, I'm going to… To come."
"Good, come for me, bitch," Zachary told her.
Evidently she liked dirty talk from him as just much as she liked it from Dane. She cried out Zachary's name, moaning loudly as she came.
If my head didn't hurt enough before, it was worse now, listening to them fucking. For once, I wasn't even slightly turned on. If anything, my cock was softer than it had ever been in my life. No doubt that was the side effect of whatever drug was still in my system. It better wear off, or they'd be lucky to go to hell.
The sound of skin hitting the wall came faster, over and over, accompanied by Zachary's grunts and groans and growls.
"I'm going to come inside you, you dirty slut." He growled one more time before he came.
Was ear bleach a thing? Because I was going to need a butt ton of it after this.
I thought listening to Chloe and Dane was traumatising, but it was nothing to this. Neither of them had tried to kill Lila at the time. Now, I was tied here, listening to my enemies make each other feel good.
Ugh, kill me now.
What did Parker and I do to deserve this? Okay, we did a lot of shitty things and killed people, but this was a cruel and unusual torture. Mercifully it was over quickly. Apparently Zachary didn't have much staying power. Certainly not as much as Dane.
They were silent for a while, catching their breath.
"Are we leaving them here?" Zachary asked finally. "We're too close to the Academy for my liking."
