He pressed three fingers deep into her heat and began to stroke. “I’m going to make you offer me your soul, princess.”

“Yes.”

Chloe woke Jordan in the dead of night, her lips and tongue bringing him once more to a state of hardened arousal. In the hours since their arrival at the desert house, they’d come together three times, each time as magical as the last.

She prowled over him, like a lioness in heat, and he guessed where this was going. Chloe intended to ride his cock and bring him to submission. Her nimble fingers rolled a condom over his erection.

Gripping her hips, he flipped her over and onto her back. “Minx. Did you think to wake me and use me for your sexual pleasure?”

His cock parted her soft, wet folds and Jordan plunged deep into Chloe’s sex. In the pale moonlight, he caught the wicked grin on her lips. This had been her plan all along, get him hard in the hope he wouldn’t be able to resist fucking her this way.

“I think your pussy missed me.” Jordan bent and kissed Chloe. “I know I’ve missed it, along with the rest of you.”

Chloe sighed. “Show me how much you’ve missed me. I want no mercy. Hard. Deep. Please, Jordan.”

She wrapped her legs around him, her finger nails digging into his back as he gave her all the punishment she could take. When she cried out with her orgasm, he let loose and pounded his way to his own release.

“My beautiful, amazing, Chloe. You are mine.”

They still hadn’t talked, but the time would soon come.

CHAPTERFIFTY-THREE

Colorado

Two days later.

Time to start repaying some debts.

Jordan caught sight of his brother the second he stepped out of the main building of Aspen-Pitkin County Airport. Matthew’s jeep SUV was parked right out in front of the main door, and he was leaning against it chatting to one of the uniformed traffic team. Unlike most other airports, with their strict loading zone rules, the guy didn’t seem in any hurry to move Matthew Royal on.

Catching sight of Jordan, Matthew gave a friendly wave. He shook hands with the airport traffic cop and made his way over.

“Morning.” His gaze took in Jordan’s tailored suit, and elegant woolen coat. He raised an eyebrow. “Way to fit in when you are in Aspen, bro.”

Matthew was in jeans, a loose pale blue hoodie under a thick winter coat and rocking a pair of Timberland boots. He fitted in, whereas Jordan was well and truly overdressed.

“Can I talk to you about the amazing investment returns that can be found in crypto currency?” said Jordan, slipping his sunglasses onto his face. He and Matthew both laughed.

“I thought you would have met me off the plane.” Jordan had counted seven other private jets on the tarmac as the Royal Resorts jet came into land.

His brother shook his head. “Trying to be less billionaire and more of a local at the moment. Not that it seems to be helping me to make much headway. I might have to rethink my approach when it comes time to talk to the planning committee.”

Jordan climbed into the front passenger seat of the SUV. It was a smaller vehicle than what he got around in on the West Coast, but its size made it nimble. As soon as they left the airport, Matthew was easily weaving in and out of the traffic. His snow tires gripped the icy roads.

“How did the big Chloe concert Las Vegas launch go? I saw the pics of her and Bryce on her Instagram feed, but I couldn’t see you.”

“It went brilliantly. The gold dress Chloe wore was from Camille’s clever hands. You didn’t see me, because I wasn’t up on stage. Bryce is the CEO. My job is to keep our pop star happy over the next little while.”

Matthew shot him a concerned glance. “And how are things between you and Chloe, I mean are you able to be in the same room and not feel awkward around her? Or is she giving you the solid diva treatment as punishment.”

“Things between us are getting better, not perfect but I don’t think any relationship can lay claim to that fiction. And no, Chloe’s never been a diva. We are working through our issues, but to be honest I think we are both holding back on fully sharing. When I’m back in Vegas tonight, I’m going to talk to her about my stay in rehab.”

He owed her that truth. Chloe had to know what a future with him might really look like, and what it could possibly entail. “And I need to explain about my breakdown last year.”

Hopefully Chloe will then feel safe enough to tell him what had really happened with Foster and Marta. Whatever is was, she was keeping it from him, but he didn’t want to press her. Something bad had to have happened for her to make such major changes in her life.
