“Hold the door as I get Nash settled. Did you eat?”

“Lincoln brought us pot pies from the diner. They were wonderful.” Adam blushed. “There wasn’t any left, sorry, or I would have brought you some.”

“I’ll order something for us later,” Lucas told him. They shuffled forward slowly until they reached Adam.

Lucas leaned forward to steal a kiss, which was totally not fair. Nash wanted kisses too.

“Come here!” Adam said. He moved up on his tiptoes to peck a kiss on Nash’s lips.

Nash whined. “More.”

“No,” Lucas said.

“Mean,” Lucas muttered.

Adam held the swinging doors out of the way as Lucas and Nash exited the break room.

Nash grinned happily as he spotted the changes to the shop.

The chairs and tattoo stations on the right side of the room remained pretty much the same as Nash had seen before. On the same wall as the break room door a large television had been mounted. Under the screen was a shelf that held a new gaming system.

A large square rug had been placed not far away and the couch from the front of the shop was set at the edge of the rug along with a couple overstuffed chairs.

“You didn’t have to do all this, but this is awesome!” Nash said.

Trick bounced. “It’s our new break area. The guys can put music, a movie, or whatever they want on the TV when they don’t have clients or just want to kick back before their client gets here. I wanted to do this before but never had the chance.”

“Well then I’m happy I can be the reason.”

“Lucas bought us a game station and games!” Trick told him.

“You got roped into keeping me company?” Nash asked as he dropped carefully onto the black leather couch.

“I volunteered,” Trick told him. “I don’t have any piercing appointments, so I’ll answer phones and greet people or make appointments for the guys. It pretty much leaves me to do whatever I want most of the day.”

“Cool.” Nash didn’t want anyone to be pulled away from their schedules just to help him out.

Adam sat next to him, so Nash took the opportunity to pull him close as Lucas set the crutch against the side of the couch.

“I have about an hour before my client gets here. I’m going to order some food for the shop. Anything in particular you want?”

“No vegetables!” Nash replied.

Trick giggled. “Yeah! No vegetables.”

“Extra veggies,” Lucas said. “Got it.”

That request hadn’t worked yet but Nash would keep trying. “Pizza?”

“We can get veggies on pizza,” Lucas answered.

Nash nuzzled Adam’s cheek as he scowled at Lucas.

Lucas grinned while pulling out his phone.

“Fine,” he agreed. Nash was hungry. If there was enough sauce and cheese, he could probably ignore the veggies that Lucas would add. “He’s such a Daddy,” Nash whispered in Adam’s ear.

Tilting his head back, Adam winked. “True. If you listen to him, though, you might heal faster.”
