Orion shrugs and grabs his drink. "Where would the fun be if I couldn't give my baby brother a hard time?"

He saunters over to the chair near my desk that Atlas likes to use and sits down.

Looking down at his phone while his fingers are busily sliding across and tapping on the screen, he says, "It's a lot quieter in here, but I still think you need a VIP area."

"We don't all have a ridiculously rich family backing us with a gazillion dollars for a startup business. Expansion upstairs, including the VIP area will come when I have enough saved up to do it without taking out a loan."

Extra debt means that if something unforeseen happens, Lenny's place in his facility is in jeopardy.

I'll never let that happen.

And I have my employees to consider now too. Expanding too quickly puts everyone's livelihoods at risk.

"Atlas would lend you the money. I doubt he'd even charge you interest." There's something in Orion's tone.

I shake my head. "No chance. I don't need my rich boyfriend offering me money and I would appreciate you not suggesting it to him."

"Why not?"

"I've built this place on my own. I'm proud of that." Owning a nightclub isn't my dream, but it is what I need to do to keep me and Lenny safe and Nuovi Inizi is a success. "I'm not giving anyone else a stake in my club."

"Taking a loan isn't handing over the reins to your business."

"I don't want to owe anyone, least of all my boyfriend."

Orion's phone buzzes and he looks at the screen, his eyes flaring before he schools his expression.

"Was that Atlas?"

Orion nods, giving me a long look. "He's a little intense where you're concerned."

"You think?"

"And what about you?"

"What about me?" I ask with my brows raised and arms crossed.

"You never answered my question."

"Which one would that be?"

"Do you love my brother?"

I knew this would come up again. Nothing about any of the Rokos men makes me believe they give up easily. "Not something I am going to discuss with you."

"Just tell me you're serious about him."

"Is this you asking me what my intentions are?"

"Yes."

"I don't know what is happening between me and Atlas," I say honestly.

A thunderstorm of negative emotion blows over Orion's features.

"I mean at first, I thought it was a one-night stand. But it wasn't. I'm not sure what it is, but Atlas isn't the only one feeling things intensely."
