“Please, stop it.” Druza screams, but her screams are muffled by the men screaming their threats at us. Garth pushes her father which has him flying back onto the group of men.

“Let’s go brother, you can bring your woman to talk to her father when he is calmer.” Garth says as he glances at me.

I feel a punch on my back, “I’m not going with you,” Druza mutters, her voice filled with tears. This whole situation must be painful for her, having her family and friends turning against her when she isn’t responsible for what happened.

“I will bring Druza back to talk to you when you have calmed down, she did nothing wrong.” I say trying to calm the mob of men that are becoming louder by the minute.

“You are not taking my daughter anywhere.” Her father roars as he once again charges towards me. The thought of Druza getting hurt because of this confusion has me reacting instinctively. I raise my hands bending the ground before the mob of men advancing on us. A ravine opens between us, big enough that will keep the men away from us for a while.

“Fuck Haldor” Garth mutters, “let’s go before these assholes get over their shock.”

Turning I see Druza a couple of steps behind me, her face tears stained, her hands fisted up against her mouth as she looks at what just happened before her eyes. “We need to go,” I say taking a step towards her which she immediately counteracts by taking a step back.

“No” she replies shaking her head, “you leave now, before they get across and I will talk to them.”

I huff in anger, “do you really think that I am going to leave you here when they are angry like that?” I ask as I proceed to walk towards her, “I will take you with me and when you think that they have calmed down I will bring you back to talk to your father.”

“Haldor, we need to go.” Eirik says from behind me, angry shouting rising from the crowd behind the rift.

“I’m sorry Druza, but we need to go.” I apologize as I place my arm behind her back and the other one under her knees, picking her up I pull her close to my chest as I hurry up towards where I parked my Harley.

“Put me down,” Druza screams as she punches me in the chest, wiggling her legs. At any other time, I would let her down and explain everything, but with the men following us to stop me from taking her I will have to unfortunately force her.

“I promise we will come back when they are calmer.” I state as I reach the Harleys. Placing her on the back of mine I quickly mount and lean forward to start the engine only to feel her starting to climb off.

Starting the bike I pull my arm behind my back pulling her close to me, “sit still, I don’t want you to get hurt.” I order as I pull away making my way towards the main road.

“I can’t go,” she shrieks, punching me on the back. “They will be after us and then people will get hurt.” She states.

“I won’t hurt anyone,” I promise, “the only time I will hurt anyone is if they try to hurt you or any of the Elementals in any way.”

“You don’t understand, they won’t stand down and they are not exactly the peace and love type of people.” She says in an imploring tone, she has stopped fighting which allows me to relax and make my way back towards our destination as soon as possible. I want to get her to the club where she will be safe behind our gates and I can protect her better.

“Trust me when I tell you that we can protect ourselves.” I am glad that she’s worried about us even though this is all new for her. Glancing in my mirror I see Eirik and Garth riding right behind me, they will maintain their vigil behind us to make sure that no one approaches.

“Did you do that?” she doesn’t specify, but I know that she’s talking about me bending the ground before the mob of men.

“Yes,” I reply knowing that I should never have done what I did before those men, they now know that I am different and hopefully they are too angry to take much notice, but if they do we will have to deal with it when it happens.

“I hope they don’t realize it was you,” She whispers. I know that Tor will not be happy if he finds out that I used my power in front of humans. Tor is the Cape Town MC president and a brother to all of us, but he doesn’t take fools lightly and he surely doesn’t appreciate it when we break the rules. The Elementals MC is driven by men that have been in this world for centuries, fighting for our race to make sure that we are hidden from the human race by never using our powers in front of any humans.

I know that he will understand that I had to keep Druza safe, that he will swear and threaten but Tor would never hurt one of his own unless they turned Keres, but now that we have found a cure to continue hanging on until we finally find our mate, everyone has relaxed slightly.

It takes approximately two hours before we arrive at the club, the journey has been one of silence. One that I love and hate, I love having her behind me, her body close to mine, her arms snaked around my waist halfway through our journey, a journey that had my body crying for release.

I know that she will need time to get used to me, get used to a biker’s life and to everyone at the club. I am sure that like all the other women that are now mates to other brothers at our chapter and at other chapters she will fall in love with everyone and love our life.

Riding up to the club I nod to the prospect that opens the gates for us to ride through. I pull up and switch off the engine in front of the clubhouse. Garth pulls up to my left and Eirik on our right. We were so preoccupied with getting away from the men at the camp that I still don’t know what happened with the fucker that they were following. I know for a fact that he is the man that we were after, and that he needs to pay for what he did, but firstly I need to tell the others what Druza told me about the vision she had when he asked her about the woman that he is after.

I will not rest until he is dead and buried and can’t hurt anymore women, he is a diabolic asshole that loves torturing women, and we need to know why and who he works for.

Getting off the Harley I turn to help Druza climb off. My woman is beautiful in every way, and even though she has slightly dark circles around her eyes it does not detract from her beauty. She was praying to the Goddess of light and if the Goddess does exist than I will thank her for bringing me a woman like Druza. From what I saw I can tell that she is a carefree soul that appreciates nature and everything around her.

“Come, I will introduce you to the others.” I see her hesitate at my words, I know that this will be a huge change for her, a change that she didn’t even have a chance to prepare herself for. Taking her hand I guide her into the club, I can hear some of the men talking at the back. As we enter the bar area it is deserted, which helps me show her around without having anyone question us immediately.

“This is our clubhouse; the others will be inside.” I point toward the doors to the back where the rooms are. “Through there you will find the kitchen and the rooms, we also have the technology center through there which I will show you later.” She doesn’t say anything as she looks around cautiously.

“But first I will introduce you to Garth,” I say as I point to Garth that is leaning against the main door, his eyes following our every move. His hair is tied back to allow us to see his amused expression. He raises his hand placing both fingers to his forehead he salutes Druza.
