Somehow the brown of Riven’s eyes darkened even more, his gaze running the length of my body. All my senses started to ping, his stare a touch against every inch of me. Something about what I’d just said had turned him on.

Maybe it was wrong. Maybe I should walk out. But neither of those things was going to happen, not unless Riven told me no or again said he wanted me to leave.

“You want me.” I stepped closer, right up in his space.

“I want someone, and you’re here. I haven’t fucked anyone in years. Don’t get it twisted. It’s not because you’re special.”

His words struck me speechless for a moment. Riven hadn’t been with anyone since before getting locked up? And also…did that mean he’d been with men back then? Or had he never been with one and just knew he was attracted to them?

“Who said I thought I was?” We were so close, I could feel his breath against my face, was pretty sure we were sharing the same air, Riven exhaling while I inhaled. “I used to want you,” I admitted, not entirely happy with myself for doing so. “I had a crush on you when we were young. When I looked at you, I realized I felt a whole lot of shit I didn’t feel when I looked at women.” Point to me for how steady my voice came out, when I was damn near bursting out of my skin.

“What are you saying, Parrish? I don’t have time for this shit.”

“I’m saying I’d be using you too. Call it…sating my childhood curiosity. And Jesus, Riven. It’s been years. You deserve to get off with someone. If not me, then find a woman, or I’ll take you into Bedford to help you get some ass. You deserve to bust a nut with someone.” That was another thing my family had taken away from him—years of his life, of sexual contact with anyone.

When he didn’t move or respond, I took a step back. “I put it out there, and now it’s on you. The last thing I want is to come off like some creepy prick trying to get into your pants. Just know it’s a standing offer. You want me, you can have me. Have a good night, Riven. And I’m sorry…about everything.”

I turned and went for the door.

CHAPTER NINE

Riven

My dick was throbbing. I hated wanting Parrish, but the truth was, I did. He was sexy as hell, and like I’d said, it had been a long time for me. But still, he was a Hunt. They had ruined my life, and no matter what he said and how much he swore he hated them, they were still his blood and I wasn’t. Frank, Bill, and Rex talked me into going to prison for something I didn’t do; they could manipulate Parrish too. Back then I’d thought I was like family to them, but they’d proved they would always choose each other over me, so why wouldn’t Parrish?

My brain was losing the battle with my dick with every second that ticked by, especially when my eyes snagged on his ass.

I wanted to come.

I wanted to fuck.

I wanted that piece of my life back that had been taken away from me.

I deserved that, didn’t I? To remember what it was like to touch someone and to be touched. To pleasure and to be pleasured.

I followed him, pressed my hand to the door when he opened it, and pushed it shut. “Fuck you for making me want you.” Because really, almost anyone would be better than Parrish for this. But he was here, and I needed it so bad. My whole body trembled with desire.

“That’s exactly what I thought when you came back into town. I thought I should hate you, that you would be trouble, but Jesus, I wanted you too.”

“I am trouble.” I pressed my chest against his back, Parrish’s body between mine and the door. “Don’t turn me into something I’m not because of what happened that night. I’ve still done a whole lot of bad shit in my life, and if it wasn’t for my grandma, maybe I’d be doing it again.” I grinded my dick against his ass, the friction enough to already have me wanting to come.

“That’s hotter than it should be.” Parrish reached back and held my hip. “I hope you’re not expecting me to top because there’s almost nothing I like more than a dick in my ass.”

A current of need ran the length of me. His words made my dick pulse and swell harder. It couldn’t be him specifically, just the fact that it had been so long since I’d had this.

I moved my hips, running my prick along his crease again, my other arm wrapping around him, hand drifting down until I palmed his hefty bulge. “I guess it’s a good thing I’m a top,” I told him before pressing my teeth into the meaty spot where his shoulder met his neck.
