I want to tell her I would be honored to be her first, but the truth of the matter is that it scares the hell out of me. I know me. I know how I feel about her. I know the battle I’ve fought with her and with myself to stop us from being here. It’s dangerous for me to know that I could be the first and only man to ever be inside her.
Something primal flows through my veins. I’ve never felt this kind of yearning before in my entire life.
“Then be messy with me, Rome.”
“Baby girl, there is no one on this earth I’d rather be messy with.”

I never stood a chance at denying her. “Okay.” I kiss her quickly, then stand and take a step back before pulling my shirt over my head, tossing it to the floor. We both start getting naked. My eyes take over every inch of her, committing this moment to memory.

“I—I’ve never been naked, not all the way in front of a man before.”
I can’t help it. I smile. “Just me?”
“Just you.”
“Good.” I snake an arm around her waist and pull her close as I softly kiss her. I want to fucking devour her, but I’m taking this slowly. She deserves to be cherished, and I want to be the man to make her feel that way.

“I need to get the lights and turn off the TV. If the guys drive by and see it on, they might stop, and nothing is keeping me from holding you all night.” I kiss her temple and stride out of the room. I don’t bother with clothes. The house is dark, except for the slight glow of the TV. I don’t plan to be away from her for long. I double check that the door is locked, turn off the TV, and find my way in the dark back to my room. Again, I close and lock the door, and then turn off the bedside lamp and crawl into bed beside her.
“Come here, baby girl.” I hold open my arms, and she nestles into me, resting her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her as she exhales.
“It’s better than I imagined it would be.” Her hands roam over my abs. She slowly makes her way toward my cock.
I place my hand over hers, stopping her. “What are you doing?”
